Friendliness and helpfulness of staff. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful great - traditional Costa Rican fare. Magnificent mango trees in the garden. Beds were extremely comfortable.

“We booked this hotel for its proximity to the Liberia airport.”
Room was clean but we would prefer they didn't use the plug in air freshener. Good traditional Tico breakfast. Located on the outskirts of town, about 1.5km from the main square, easy to reach on foot. Half and hour drive to/from Liberia airport. Liberia itself is not a destination but rather a conduit to touring the rest of the country.

We ended up booking at Hotel Javy when our flight arrived later than expected and hotels closer to the airport were full. It was a bit odd to find as in a neighborhood in Liberia. Once we arrived, there was secure parking, rooms were clean, staff were pleasant. Appeared to be a nice little hotel. Breakfast was included and tasty.

Charming spot — excellent breakfast included with room. Was a fantastic way to welcome us to Costa Rica. (Secured parking was a bonus in the city—not because it felt dangerous, just because it was convenient and then we didn’t have to worry.) It was all very easy and comfortable.
