The location was very good as there was a pebble beach not so far from the property with local facilities in the area, Aswell breakfast was in good porportion with homemade cakes for everyone every morning, with very friendly and welcoming staff . Cathy brought us from La Rochelle train station and was kind enough to pick us up and back to Chez Cathy, also bringing us to the airport the very next day when we missed the morning bus.

Amazing Breakfast

The accommodation was lovely, a really nice room and a touch of class with the presentation (will not ruin it for anyone staying here). The host was lovely and the breakfast was exceptional — my only gripe being I did not have the appetite to enjoy more of the home-made delights on display.... I echo entirely the comments made by others in respect of the breakfast. Also, I was delighted to have a secure place to leave my motorbike (the same undoubtedly applies to cars).

Cathy is a fantastic host. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast - everything homemade - was wonderful.

“A wonderful host”

Cathy is friendly and helpful. Her breakfasts are exceptional and the pool is lovely. This was our second visit, it's ideally situated for visits to the islands and La Rochelle. The beaches are lovely.

Cathy was so helpful to me and my young children and the breakfast she provided was INCREDIBLE. She went out of her way to order us a taxi and was very patient with a very frazzled mother.

Good value for money, nice location. Cathy was a kind host, it was our first time staying in a holiday home with a host on site so definitely a new experience. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was amazing and plentiful with a lot of home made goodies.

Cathy is an amazing, warm hostess, she really made me feel so welcome. I only stayed one night as I was meeting a friend at the airport the next day to travel on but I wish I could have stayed longer. Try not to eat too much in the evenings as you will need an appetite for the amazing homemade breakfast that Cathy prepares for you - absolutely delicious 😋 Thank you so much Cathy for all your help and advice and making my stay such a lovely one :)
