The stairs to go to the main door and the laneway were not plowed. The floors of the shared areas were dirty, full of salt from the outside. There were multiple webcobs on the ceiling.

It is a quaint area of town convenient to the ferry for Quebec City.

Very clean and comfortable in a beautiful building. Easy check-in. Close to a very nice restaurant and walking distance to the ferry to Quebec City. (However, took a taxi back from the ferry as the walk back up the steep hill was a little daunting)

We stayed in the Begin Suite for 4 nights. The location was perfect as I have family less than 2 blocks away and the ferry to Quebec City is only about a 12-15 minute walk. There is also a bus to the ferry that goes by the house. The house has either been recently updated or has been kept in great condition, with modern windows, beautiful old hardwood floors, lovely bathroom, smoke detectors, etc. The Begin Suite has sole access to the front verandah, providing great additional living space, rain or shine. Located near some great shops, restaurants, park, Anglicane theatre, and the weekend market, it is a perfect spot. It had an ironing board and iron in the house.
