The access was difficult as there was a long steep path with uneven steps to get into the apartment. The advert did not mention the steps nor that the apartment was underneath the owners house. The photo on the advertising showed the owners cottage not the apartment.

Location brilliant. Very central to town and walking tracks. Friendly hosts. House had everything we need ed. Comfy mattresses and great heating. Very close to the town centre.

The location was great as it was only a 8 minute walk to the centre where there were numerous cafes and shops. It was easy to get to places of interest. Our hosts had a lovely bottle of wine for us and snacks and cheese and a loaf of bread. Lots of tea and coffee, so we could relax a bit after our long drive up from Sydney before hitting the supermarket!

Steve and Lynne were great hosts. The apartment was spacious, well-equipped and very comfortable. The garden was also a very attractive and peaceful space to enjoy. The apartment was very well positioned - close to shops and transport, whilst being in an attractive and quiet street. Close to the action, but far enough away to enjoy the serenity. Recommended!

“Perfect stay”

Everything about the flat was perfect. It was beautifully furnished and fully equipped. Some basic groceries were waiting to welcome us. The garden was an oasis of peace. The beds were comfortable and the whole place was very clean.

Location is great as you can walk up to the main street within 5-10 mins (and avoid paying for parking if going to dinner/shops in Leura). Place was neat and tidy, and there was heating for bedrooms and living area. Hosts were lovely and helpful.

The hosts were very welcoming. They had everything there for what we needed. Even a cheeky bottle of wine and some cheeses in the fridge for when we arrived. The apartment was warm, cosy and comfortable. So quiet and peaceful sitting in the back garden. The perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and just relax and unwind. Will stay again. Highly recommend.

The location was perfect for us as we went up for a wedding and the house was close to the venue. It also was in good location to drive to Katoomba or Leura shops. The full size kitchen is great, we ate out mostly, however enjoyed the cereal and bread that is left for guests. Thank you for the complementary wine, cheese and crackers. This was a surprise. The apartment has a gorgeous outlook to a beautiful garden and is in a quiet location. You are unable to hear the trains, and the street is very quiet. This is a very peaceful accommodation to relax and enjoy the local sites.

Holley House was wonderful and close to everything in Leura. The property was so clean and had everything we could have wanted for our stay. Our hosts let us know how to check in so easily and were available if we needed anything, we also felt tucked away and had complete privacy. We had wonderful meals at restaurants and cafes nearby and loved the quaint shops in Leura and Katoomba. It was also wonderful to have the kitchen and laundry facilities in the accommodation. It had been rainy on our day of arrival so the laundry was great and we made breakfast each morning to fuel up before a day in the mountains. I would highly recommend this accommodation!! I’ve stayed many places around the world booked on Booking.com and this has to be my absolute favourite!!
