Overview
Set along the Letojanni’s promenade facing the Ionian coast, Albatros Beach Hotel is right in front of its private beach. Recently renovated, it offers functional air-conditioned rooms with a balcony, a restaurant and car rental service. A breakfast buffet is served daily in the restaurant and consists in croissants, cold cuts and cheese as well as homemade cakes. Open only for dinner, Albatros Hotel's restaurant specialises in Sicilian classics and international dishes. Drinks are available at the American bar, which is open round the clock. Reached by 2 lifts, rooms feature a TV and a fully equipped private bathroom with bathtub or shower. Some of them overlook the sea while others face the mountains. Guests can unwind on the furnished terrace with parasols or, alternatively, they can sunbathe on the private beach, which comes at additional costs. A bus stopping 80 metres away provides links to Catania and Messina. The property is 6.5 km from Taormina while the breath-taking Alcantara River Park is a 20-minute drive away.

“Beautiful but with a few flaws”
Letojanni is a good option if you're looking for cheaper accommodation out of Taormina, however in middle season (May) I would not wholeheartedly recommend it as a location. Parking was almost always available due to it not being high season yet. The hotel was beautiful, staff friendly, breakfast great, and of course with the beach in front of it was perfect.

A new or recently renovated building, very clean, with comfortable rooms and extremely friendly staff. The breakfast was the best I had in Sicily – fresh orange juice, delicious croissants, and also savory options. There is a kettle in the room with good tea provided. Free street parking was available in front of the hotel (we visited before the season; during the season it’s paid according to city rates). The hotel is located right across from the beach. Nice toiletries in the bathroom and very comfortable beds.

“Perfect Relaxation”
Albatross Beach is very beautiful, well maintained, and tastefully designed. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Breakfast was varied and featured high-quality products. I especially enjoyed the beach club: crystal-clear sea, very comfortable sun loungers, and excellent food at the beach kiosk. My only regret is not having been able to stay longer.

“Relaxing break from busy Taormina”
After a few busy days in Taormina, all we wanted to do is relax by the beach and that’s exactly what we got at Albatross. The room was perfect, the pillows were fluffy and I fell asleep to the waves crashing against the beach. During the day we used the hotel’s private beach and sun chairs and made the most out of the sunny day. The staff were really nice and allowed us to check out one hour later at no extra charge as well, really appreciated 🙏

The property was modern, clean, spacious and an absolute pleasant to stay at, wish we could have stayed longer. We loved that the beach club chairs were included in the price, and so close to the water, this made the experience unforgettable. We will most definitely stay here again. Benedetta at the front reception was beyond amazing, she had beautiful service and cared for our needs so well. She made effort to ensure our last minutes stay, and airport transfers were smooth. We felt very cared for during our stay
