“Lovely place, so peaceful, fabulous owners - would definitely stay again”

We come to Cyprus most years but normally stay in the Paphos area (or more recently Coral Bay). This time it was just my wife and I who came on holiday (no children) for 11 nights and we wanted to be closer to her mum who lives in Letymbou and her dad, who is in a care home 10 minutes away from there. The location of this property was ideal for this reason. There were other many other positives with our stay - we were off the beaten track (so got to know the locals, rather than just the tourists); the peacefulness of the property was just so relating (all we could here was the various animal sounds, the birds, the cockerel (which fortunately didn’t get up early), the goats and the geckos which sometimes made an appearance. Oh and there is also a winery literally two minutes walk away! The property only lets out a couple of apartments and we were the only ones there, which was great. The infinity pool was lovely as were the padded deck chairs and the view was amazing. But what made the place special was the owner, Demetrios and his wife, who not only asked if we needed anything or if there were any problems, but also helped with our cases, brought fruit every morning (so a tip - you don’t need to buy any!), brought us an alcoholic frappe (very nice), cold orange juice on our last day when we were out sunbathing too. Some nice touches with little bottles of wine in the fridge, a few beers in there etc. They simply couldn’t do enough for us. The property itself was clean, a decent shower and a comfortable bed, with lots of good amenities (fridge freezer, cooker, dish washer, washing machine, TVs etc). One of the walls looked like it had been recently had some plastering done ready for painting, showing that the property is being constantly maintained.

“High-End Apartment with Stunning Views & Perfect Hospitality”

We stayed at this apartment last night and just have to share — it was one of the best experiences we’ve had in Cyprus. The apartment itself is of a very high standard — everything is new, clean, comfortable, high-quality, and beautifully designed. You can really see the attention to detail, with a true European, almost Italian-level standard. It’s simply a pleasure to stay in a place like this. Beyond that, the outdoor area is something special — a perfect, well-kept garden with a pool and a breathtaking view, one of the most beautiful we’ve seen in Cyprus. A place you truly don’t want to leave. But above all — the host. One of the kindest people we’ve met in Cyprus. Exceptional hospitality and genuine care: he made a restaurant reservation for us, helped with shopping, and even returned shoes our daughter accidentally left behind. Not something to take for granted. In short — highly, highly recommended. We will definitely come back.

The host is very caring and friendly. The apartment is extremely clean and cozy. It has everything you need, and even some complimentary treats from the host, which was a very pleasant surprise! It’s a wonderful place to spend time. There is also a nice tavern nearby.

Our stay at Demetris was truly wonderful! Every morning he provided us with fresh fruit from the garden and was always very kind and attentive. We had everything we needed, and the view as well as the pool were absolutely stunning, making for a completely relaxing experience. We would definitely love to come back.

“Little hidden paradise for quiet escape”

The property is an absolute paradise for those who want to escape the city buzz and enjoy the calmness and friendliness of Cyprus. It was definitely my favourite place I stayed in Cyprus. Despite arriving pretty late, Demetrios was very welcoming and a wonderful host. He made sure our stay was as relaxing as it could be. Little surprises for breakfast were an added treat. I would highly recommend his place to anyone who is looking for a place to switch off from everything.

Property was beautiful, clean, spacious and well equiped, bed was super comfortable with welcome drinks in the fridge and fruit. The fruit was a fantastic morning treat provided by the host. Beautiful balcony to sit and watch the sunset. Would definitely stay here again.

“Unauthorized Entry, Privacy Violation, and Unacceptable Stay”

We booked two studio apartments from August 8–10. On August 9, the host asked if he could enter our studio apartment to change a lamp and fix something in the toilet. We clearly declined and told him to do it after our checkout. We were attending a wedding that day as guests. At around 1:00 PM, my husband dropped me off at the venue for my hair appointment, then returned to the studio apartment to find the host and a technician inside our apartment. The host was aware of our wedding schedule and likely assumed we would be away. We had locked the door, but he used his keys to enter without our consent and after we had explicitly refused his request. He then claimed it was his “right” to enter, which is unacceptable. We had booked two studio apartments in total. Our friends, who were staying in the second apartment, were witnesses to my husband returning and finding the host and technician inside our studio apartment. Since we were all attending the wedding, we didn’t want to ruin their stay either, so we avoided escalating the matter further at the time. They were working over our personal toiletries in the restroom, leaving dust and debris on items such as toothbrushes and hygiene products, which poses health risks. They had no intention of informing us about the entry. Our luggage, jewelry, and other valuables were in the apartment at the time. This was a serious breach of privacy and trust. The host violated the most fundamental rule of hospitality by entering our accommodation without permission. This caused significant stress and ruined what should have been a special day for us and our friends. To avoid disrupting the wedding, my husband simply asked them to leave immediately and not return until after checkout. However, the incident escalated into a heated argument, as the host refused to acknowledge his wrongdoing. To make matters worse, upon returning home we discovered a centipede in our laundry.

Everything is fine. This is definitely the place we will return to.

“Marvellous stay, highly recommend the place.”

Everything was great. The host met us at site, handed the keys and explained everything. The view was marvelous. The village was very nice and charming. We heard the rooster in the morning and at night, the howls of coyotes and foxes. A really far cry from the buzzes of the city. We bought fresh baked bread from Sofia's, highly recommended. The pool at site was a blessing to relax after a hot day. All facilities are present in the studios but the apartment is even better. It has a bigger fridge, washing machine, dryer, all that you need for a pleasant stay. I really thank the host for his efforts in trying to make us feel at home.

The room was really comfortable and super clean. There was a small fridge with some complementary drinks and snacks which was a really nice surprise. We visited during Summer and the infinity pool was an amazing addition and perfect for relaxing after a long day in Cyprus heat. We reached the place by car it was easily accessible, the view of the village is really nice and at nights there is a nice cool breeze that allows you to enjoy the views sitting outside in the balcony. The host is extremely friendly and nice and he offered us fresh fruits every morning.

We really enjoyed our stay at Calypso. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable, and the whole place had a peaceful, relaxing vibe. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

The apartment was located on top of a hill overviewing the village. it had a spectacular view, were you would sit and relax and forget teh world. the apartment was clean and Mr. Demetris was there to welcome us and ensure that we did not need anything. A very welcoming adn rspectable gentleman. brought us fruits every morning and offered us coffee whenever we met. Amazing treatment. there was a pool were you can sunbath and swim and spend the day enjoying nature and getting visited by wild birds that come to drink from the pool. A super relaxing vacation. also the location of the apartment is 4 to 5 mins walk from the center of the village were there are restaurants, winery and small coffee shops, that offer nice food.

“Kalypso view”

Dimitri the host was fabulous, very accomodating. He went above and beyond. Fresh fruits in the room and drinks etc... The room was amazing! Gorgeous views, very peaceful and relaxing. The pool was perfect looking out onto the village... Highly recommend this place. We would give him 11 out of 10 if we could. Thank-you dimitri...we will definitely be back. We fell in love with your beautiful home. X
