This resort is operated by a friendly and nice family. They are very supportive and help to organize tours and even did some shopping for us. The food provided was very good. You have to order in advance if you want to have food after 16:00. The whole outlay is beautifully set in nature, simple, but functional. There is a self catering kitchen with fridge as well.

It is very close to the amazon (virtually in the middle of it), very good breakfast and very clean jungle lodge. Got a very good experience. It'd just a cheap bus ride from the airport and/or the city. Staff were very sweet

The staff is amazing! Very very helpful and involved, flexible and caring. We had to go to hospital as my friend got very sick. They were very supportive. Also they organise great tours and trips, and are super informed and well connected. We had to cancel the lago piraña on short notice cause of my friend feeling unwell and not ready for the trek. They then organised a boat for us instead. It was great! The owner was also extremely nice and helpful even though he was out of country. Special thanks to Francy for taking care of us so well! Great team, lovely owner! They have a great list of activities to choose from…we would have done more and I’m sure it would have been fantastic. 45 min walking or 10 min on tuktuk is a natural bathing spot in the Amazon…extremely gorgeous and easy to reach from Om Shanty. To the city it’s 20-25 min by tuktuk or bus. We liked the fact that it was away from the city and in nature. Great location if you want to avoid civilisation a bit more, yet being close to infrastructure. Bus passes by regularly and takes you to town. Small shops/restaurants across street to get the necessary. We have been rather late for breakfast, but they still served us, which was super nice of the restaurant staff, thank you! The price was good and stands in relation with what you get.

The lodges are actually in the jungle and the atmosphere is very nice and wild. They are quite far from Leticia, but you can reach them by public bus in less than 30 minutes

It feels like in the middle of a jungle, very peaceful , cosy and beautiful, sound of the selva is breathtaking, little jungle huts are as good and as wooden as they get and the restaurant on the premises is wonderful, tasty rich and filling breakfast included, i requested gluten free vegan and they delivered most wonderful options evey time, and part of the food is also grow in the land which is amazing. The owners are very friendly and helpful and share stories and give recommendations all staff is also very lovely friendly. I had 4 most relaxing days in my last 10 years here, deep rest and self love time. Thanks for this rare opportunity 🙏💗🌸

We had an excellent stay. We initially booked one night and finally we stayed 3 nights. It was so relaxing, the place is amazing. All the huts are cool, with nice matreses and a small balcony outside to relax. The bus stop is just outside the lodje. Totally recommended.

Omshanty is an amazing place, in the middle of the jungle, with all the confort one might need, as every lodge disposes of water and electricity. We have spent a wonderful week with cheerful and helpful people, fresh and delicious food prepared on the spot. The camu camu juice is a must. :) Omshanty organizes wonderful activities with locals (visits in the jungle, boat trips on the Amazon) which makes everything an unique experience. When it's not raining during nighttime and the sky it's clear, always stargaze in the garden! It's free and unforgetable. If you're lucky you might spot monkeys in the trees.

really nice place in the middle of the jungle but at the same time just 20 minutes by bus from the city, we really enjoyed the place and listening to the sounds of the animals during the night! The tours are really nice with local guides and cheaper than the ones you can find in the city of leticia.

“Great jungle stay away from the city noise”

We loved our stay at Omshanty! The lodges were clean and comfortable, the bathroom looked like it had been recently renovated and the mosquito nets kept mosquitoes out! The staff we interacted with on the property were all lovely and helpful, willing to help or give advice. We also organised local tours with indigenous guides through Omshanty. The minibus into town is also really convenient, runs often and is very affordable. Perfect to get a few groceries or jump on a tour in town. We highly recommend staying at Omshanty.

“Great place in the jungle”

Our stay in the spacious lodges of Omshanty was really nice. Surrounded by beautiful flora it's the perfect place to relax in a hammock for a few days. There are two places to swim close by. They have a kitchen, but with no groceriesstore nearby we chose to eat at the restaurant at the beginning of the resort. They are open from 7 - 16 and from 18.30-19.30. If you look for more adventure; they offer jungletour aswell for reasonable prices (up to 7 days!) Due to lack of time we 'only' did a one-day-tour. Because you're 11 km's away from Leticia itself the jungle is close by. The guide had a lot of knowledge. The owner Kike and his staff are really friendly and do their best to make the best of your stay.

Great little lodge in its own jungle surrounding with great family working to keep the place a paradise It’s out of the madness of Leticia but the very frequent bus to km 11 is ideal

Fantastic stay at Omshanty. We were greeted upon arrival and enjoyed a relaxing stay. Loved being amongst nature and being a little bit outside the city. Super easy to get the bus to Leticia, and Enrique helps organize tours and activities in town. Would definitely return again!
