The staff were nice and able to help us late at night.

The hotel is spacious and bright, the rooms are clean and tidy. The price is cheap. The front desk service is warm. I will go here again next time.

My pillowcase had footprints on it, as did 2 towels, facecloth was filthy. The space between the counter and the tub would not have allowed ä large person to use the toilet. The room had 2 queen beds, but only towels were provided for 1 person. Only coffee provided but no tea available. Beds had a center dip in them. It's hard for two people to sleep in as we kept sliding to the center. The air-conditioner was so loud that you couldn't hold a conversation in the room. The fridge and microwave didn't work after the first night and cost us our food. (We were busy all day and came in late, so I hadn't checked anything in it until the last morning. ) The reviews showed that 90% of the reviews were from 2020 and 2022. You have to scroll a long way down to find anything from 2024. I think that Booking.com needs to pay attention to the reviews posted as people do follow them. I had stayed there in 2021 and found it to be an excellent choice at that time, hence why I rebooked there this time. I will never book there again.

No breakfast. When I checked in I appreciated the paint job in the lobby. Side room had a lot of work and paint stuff in it. My wife didn’t like the hotel reviews , but she accepted our stay for the night. I had no problem with it although it’s age and wear and tear revealed that the room needed refurbishing. I didn’t want to tell my wife that I did not feel safe with the big glass windows on the ground floor. That would have put more pressure on her. A lot of noise from guests but the real disaster came after 7 pm. The street traffic (whether motor cycles or hot cars was intensely loud on the 60km street. My wife was scared of the clientele , I was scared of the big glass window and the noise was intense. I was ready to find another hotel and let our current hotel have my money. My wife said no, and thankfully not much high decibel traffic after 11:00 pm. Bad sleep for me but thankfully I didn’t make a sound when my wife actually got some sleep. A good 6 hours for her and 2 hours for me. I appreciate that people need places to stay and I approve of all motels helping people out, but to me, with that motel I paid 35$ more than I should have. As a matter a fact, any similar hotels on mayor McGrath street, I will never sleep at again and especially never at the knights inn. One side point, knights inn, if you don’t have a ice machine operational, don’t put ice containers in rooms until you get your ice machine working. I presume the machine is gone or in the big side room in the lobby.

They were extremely friendly and fixed our problem, as the room we had booked was not cleaned. But we were immediately upgraded to another room, and they were very apologetic.

Very helpful receptionist who changed my room to ground floor which i had requested as i had a lot of luggage. Very nice room with sofa. Quiet but convenient for all services

Light bulbs missing in lamp, poor overall lighting, bed was not very comfortable and above all the room had a definite smell that was much like mold, ended up with a sore throat...definitely in need of an upgrade. Booking.com advertises breakfast, which this hotel does not provide.........
