“Stressful.”

The first thing we noticed upon arrival was the toilets and the pool was so cloudy it wasn't possible to see the bottom. The pump had stopped working and therefore the water was stagnant. The electrics in the house failed on 3 occasions but the fusebox was not tripping. This suggested that there is a problem with the electrical wiring in the house and it is possibly unsafe. The sockets hung from the walls in the bedrooms. The aircon was broken in one bedroom and so it wasn't possible to sleep for the entire week. The pool was attended to but it took 3 days out of our one week's stay for it to clear and we were not comfortable swimming in it until it was clean and clear. K3Homes who manage the property admitted that they already knew about the problem with the airconditioning but they did not supply us with fans even when requested. When we complained about the cleanliness of the toilets, they denied that the toilets were dirty, even though they smelt of urine, and they told us we had to buy our own cleaning products and clean them before we used them. When we attempted to communicate our concerns with K3 Homes they were largely unresponsive. For example, when the electricity failed we tried to contact them via the emergency whatsapp number they had given us, but they did not respond. This meant that the lunch that we were in the process of cooking in the oven, was wasted. Apart from contacting a pool maintenance person, K3Homes did not come to look at the issues or supply us with fans for the lack of airconditioning. These problems had a significant impact on our ability to relax and enjoy our holiday. I would avoid booking this place and anywhere that is managed by K3Homes.
