Overview
Right on the shores of Lake Maggiore, Hotel Capri has functional rooms, a bar and a terrace in Lesa, a 10-minute drive from Arona and 10 km from Stresa. The property features a small garden overlooking the lake and a small marina, and free WiFi throughout. “Lovely relaxing place to stay, slightly out of the town but good value for money although very basic”
The accommodation was located in a nice quiet are but quite a way from the Village therefore it was not possible to walk into the town but there is a wonderful restaurant in the campsite which is right near the accommodation and there is a fish restaurant on a jetty in front of the hotel which has a very good reputation. Lesa itself has nice places to eat, we would recommend the Chinese run one on the front which offers a choice of dish with an Apero for a very good price. The breakfast was very basic and exactly the same every day but the coffee was hot and good. The owner and their son were very helpful. The view from the room was really lovely and very relaxing overlooking a working dock and the lake.

Great location on the lake front, parking and amazing view from the terrace where you can enjoy apéritif and breakfast. The triple room is bigger than most of the rooms around Stresa. Comfortable bed, nice balcony to enjoy lake view. Very good value for money.

Large, comfortable bed, decent shower, good heating/aircon unit, proper espresso for breakfast (not out of a machine!). Quiet part of town, but reasonably near a good supermarket (open Sundays!).

“Basic hotel with clean rooms and good location for a short stay”
Pleasant hotel and well located. Friendly staff. Room a little tired and main staircase carpet was grubby. However, our triple room was clean and comfortable for a one night stay on our European road trip. We arrived late in the evening, and all places were closed, but the receptionist recommended we try a nearby restaurant on the small neighbouring caravan site which provided us with a tasty salad and some beers. Simple breakfast on the terrace overlooking the lake. Okay for a one night stay!
