“Perfect family weekend getaway”

Stayed here with my wee son for a little mountain weekend and we had a fantastic experience. Beautiful mountain views, very comfortable room, great restaurant, and incredibly kind staff. My son unfortunately got sick during the stay, and the team was genuinely caring and even helped us with towels for the drive back to Geneva, which I really appreciated. I honestly don’t understand the 2-star rating - this place has everything you could want for a mountain stay, especially at this price

“It was a joke, because of no parking space for me and management's cavalier attitude to the problem.”

I know the place well and have stayed many times. I don't know if there has been a change in management, but this time it was not pleasant, because when I returned from my business event at midnight, there was not a single parking space for me. Where previously there had been clear lines that gave every guest a chance, this time cars were parked all over the place at different angles, with several cars taking two spots or angled so no one else could park. What was worse was I had to back out of the long angled driveway in the middle of the night with no parking lighting. Then out on the winding road, I looked for parking for thirty minutes -- no safe parking available until a picnic area up the road. Then my dog and I had to walk down this unsafe road in the dark. The worst was the attitude of the man at the desk at check-out (a manager?). When I brought it to his attention, all he said was that they had not repainted the lines in the winter. No apology nothing. Then he tried to charge me for a glass of wine I did not have.

Really friendly place. Would have an amazing view if it hadn’t been foggy.

The staff was very welcoming and the lounge area was beautiful to stay in the evening, very cozy and with a wide selection of drinks and freshly made mulled wine and pancakes.

Clean and spacious bedroom overlooking Mont Blanc. The reception and waiting staff were charming and very friendly and helpful. The dinner was very good - a very tasty fish soup and a well cooked and savoury duck leg. We had a good bottle of wine to go with our meal.

The staff was lovely, the location was close to the train station which was quite handy to get to Chamonix town centre. I went there with my 8 year old she had an amazing time. The place is cozy and food is delicious, would recommend this is place 100%

We had a wonderful stay and a very positive overall experience at this hotel. The atmosphere was welcoming, and everything was well organised from check-in to check-out. A special mention must go to Sigoning, who truly made our stay excellent. She was professional, friendly, and went above and beyond to help. Sigoning was attentive to every detail and ensured we felt well looked after throughout our visit, which made a real difference to our experience. We would happily recommend this hotel to others and would not hesitate to stay again.

Excellent stay. Very good view of ALPS from the room and balcony. Nice room. We were in 216. It was a 4 bedded room with two toilets. We couldn't ask for more. Very nice room and services. We dinned on one evening and the food was really good. Overall, it was more than our expectation. If you have a car, this is the best place to stay.

It is verry verry beautiful, great view! Good location not so far of chamonix it is like 7 min with car. The staffs are super kind and everything.
