“If you want peace of mind, stay away from this house”
After spending our 7 day Christmas holiday with our family, including children and elderly and spending 4 days with ice cold water (boiler broke down one day before Christmas eve), we rightfully and respectfully we asked for a compensation. The host who welcomed us very sympathetic, turned into a completely different person, very rude and aggressive, even shouting at us in front of our children and creating excuses unjustly blaming us for things that is even not true to avoid compensating the days we spent very uncomfortably, which also resulted us not profiting from the facilities fully, such as the swimming pool and the sauna. So a vacation that started like a dream ended as a nightmare. We are so shaken with this experience that we are thinking of never even going back to the town. We spent a fortune during Christmas week and ended up not having warm water for 4 days. We couldn’t take shower, use the pool, sauna, and other facilities, we even hardly could wash our hands as the water was ice cold. Problems during a stay can happen. But the owner’s attitude is completely unacceptable. When we asked for a compensation asking a refund for 2 days worth of money out of the 7 days we stayed he screamed at us in front of our kids, and finally threw half a day worth of money to the table screaming “take the money and get out of my house” which we did not take. Our children were traumatized by this experience turning our Christmas mood to a nightmare We tried filing a complaint to Booking.com, we had numerous calls with their hotline and nothing happened. We heard that against our claims, the owner was blaming us for burning too much wood at the stove and destroying his stove due to overuse. We used the stove as the heating didn’t work and temperatures were below zero. And we only used the stove during the day, so not sure how a stove can be destroyed being utilized 4 days during day time.

“All you could want in one beautiful chalet”
Beautiful chalet with stunning views and multiple outdoor seating areas to enjoy the scenery. Very well maintained and extremely helpful and friendly owners. Could not have made any more effort for us. It was perfect for our group to relax and prepare for TMB.
