“Friendly hotel with a homely feel”
Small and friendly, with a homely feel. Mme was very welcoming, even though we were late arriving. We were asked to take off outdoor shoes downstairs and were provided with slippers, which we totally agreed with, it was very slushy outside. The room was big, with access to the garden, and the views were magnificent. The breakfast was lovely and set us up for the day. I managed to hurt my knee on the slopes, Mme loaned me ice packs, which I was grateful for, and also offered crutches, which I didn't need!

Excellent location for a stay near Chamonix, with busstation at 350 mtrs and free parking. Nice breakfast with local cheese and home made pie, yoghurt and cake. Pleasant friendly host. Spacious rooms.

Asking guests to take off their shoes upon entering helps keep the place clean. The homely atmosphere was quite okay until the hostess's inappropriate comments about the guest's appearance crossed the line.

“Beautiful little auberge with a great host.”
I could not recommend Auberge Le Montagny highly enough. Mme Ravanel was so kind and helpful when my wife suffered an injury on the slopes. She is a lady. The property is a beautiful little auberge and is exactly as shown in the photos. Rooms were clean and the breakfast gave us a great start to the day.

“Great experience in a beautiful place”
The breakfast was fantastic, fresh produces every morning with plenty of choices. The host also was very kind in providing gluten free bread. The location is fantastic because you always have a good view from your room.

“Friendly, cozy, and very nice”
Nice and cozy room, excellent breakfast, very friendly and helpful owner. We could park our car for free while doing the TMB.
