“Great family holiday - highly recommend”
The location was perfect, the apartment was warm and cosy. Host was friendly and helpful. The apartment was in walking distance of a the train station and walking distance to the town where there are restaurants and a supermarket. We loved the information provided for the free train and the short distance to chamonix.

We had a very pleasant stay at Orée Du Bois. The cabin is located right under the snowy mountains and has many facilities for a long stay in summer or winter. The host was nice and welcoming and we felt very comfortable. yes the furniture is old but that's the beauty of it. it depends what you are looking for or what you expect, but the apartment can accommodate 4 or 5 people and you have many things at your disposal to have a pleasant stay. The train station and bus station are 3 minutes away and you are close to many hiking trails. it is true that you have to climb some stairs to get to the apartment, but they are safe and not many. thank you for hosting us!

The location is the main advantage of this place. Apartament is placed 10 minutes from the Chamonix centre.
