Delphine went above and beyond to ensure we had the best stay possible - she was there to help us with anything we needed and always with a smile. Amazing does not begin to describe her home-cooked breakfasts which were full of variety and made with the best quality ingredients and skill. The house itself is beautiful, it has been furnished and decorated amazingly, and feels welcoming and cosy. The surroundings are is also gorgeous which is just as well, considering the beautifully kept garden with a lot of room for activities and space to relax.

Oh what a gorgeous stay, Delphine was such a wonderful host. The pool is warm which was absolute bliss. Breakfast consisted of pancakes, fruit and yummy croissants. The rooms were beautiful and so many areas within the garden you can sit and relax. What I loved most was that there was a kitchen of food , even meals you can have and pay for, for the evening, so you can enjoy the place (as its quite remote) we loved that. Lots of fridges and microwaves - it was perfect and would love to go back.

I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to our host, Delphine. This is my third time in France and my second visit to Bordeaux, but this experience has been completely new and perfect for me. I stayed here for three days, and the house was warm and cozy. The lawn outside displayed different beautiful views under the rain and sunshine. The WFH setup allowed me to take calming walks through the lawn and vineyard after work, providing me with a sense of mental peace. Every day, Delphine prepared a carefully crafted and exquisite breakfast. The fruits were arranged like flowers, and the freshly squeezed orange juice was unforgettable. What we’ll remember most is that dinner. The appetizers, main course, and dessert made us marvel time and time again—this is French cuisine. Even though Delphine humbly called it "family cooking," her dedication to cooking taught me a lot. She even mentioned going to the farm to buy higher-quality ingredients. During this dinner, my friend and I didn’t speak French, so we communicated using a translator. Delphine’s worldview, her experiences, and the philosophy behind this accommodation deeply moved and surprised us. I truly recommend this place to everyone. The beautiful garden, delicious food, and interesting people helped me find a sense of inner peace here. I hope everyone can have a wonderful experience, just as we did. “Maison des Quatre Saisons absolutely deserves its outstanding ratings in our view.”

Of the 7 places we stayed on a two week cycling holiday, Maison des Quatre Saisons was our favourite. Our Tower room was full of character, very comfortable, with lovely bathroom and shower and fly screens on the windows so you could feel the cool night air without worrying about bugs. The only sounds were of birds. The breakfast was excellent with homemade yogurt and cereal. After a couple of swims and reading by the pool (on our rest day) we enjoyed a most delicious dinner on the terrace as the sun set. Do book dinner in advance. Delphine is a true professional and such a lovely person. Thank you so much for making our stay so enjoyable.

Such an incredible stay. Quiet location, perfect for a romantic stay. Still close to restaurants and chateaus. Delphine is the most amazing host, she is kind, attentive and an incredible cook! The room was extremely comfortable, especially the bed. The dinner we had at sunset overlooking the vineyards and cooked by Delphine was an unforgettable experience. The breakfast each morning was also fantastic.

This is such a special place our 4th time here . We cycle from Latresne along Roger Lapibie bike route . Delphine was so kind . We unfortunately had a flat tyre , and on a Saturday evening she immediately took my husband to try and find a spare tyre . Very kind and generous thing to do

Fabulous. Delphine is a very friendly and professional host. Super-comfortable extra wide bed. Lots of very comfortable spaces for guests to relax, read or chat. A self-service honesty bar for drinks and snacks. Delphine cooked us a delicious 4 course dinner of high quality. Breakfast was equally delicious. We enjoyed a swim in the pool after a long day of cycling.
