What a delightful B&B! Just 10 minutes from Sancerre, it’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy. Elizabeth is a wonderful superhost—warm, welcoming, and incredibly hospitable. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was a real treat, with plenty of delicious local and homemade products. We highly recommend this place!

“Interesting place to stay and great value for money”

Elizabeth was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really good with fresh fruit salad and we could take the left over bread for our picnic in the evening. It was lovely to have the use of a refrigerator to keep our wine cool. Elizabeth provided the glasses and plates so we could picnic outside in her garden.

We arrived hot and dusty after a long day's travel - and the room was fantastic: large, extremely comfortable bed, with table, chairs, tea-making facilities and sizeable separate bathroom and toilet. We slept like logs, and woke the next morning in the heart of the vineyards, to a terrific breakfast of locally sourced products. We left something behind, and got a call within 30 mins (we were visiting nearby) and were able to retrieve things.

Everything is spot on, Elizabeth was so lovely with us, the perfect host. The room is perfect, the photos don’t do it justice. Location is spot on for visiting the wineries nearby and the breakfast is delicious (it was no bother even to cater for my vegan wife). We loved making friends with Câline too!

Everything was perfect. Despite our lack of fluent French we managed to communicate. It was lovely and clean and the breakfast was outstanding. Even went to the effort to source me gluten free bread.

We were due to arrive very late (in the dark) so Elizabeth (very nice host) sent pictures of the room and approach so we could identify it easily on arrival - we were well out of normal check in times. Breakfast was very good and included local yogurt and home made fruit jellies/jams. The room was clean and tidy and so was the bathroom. It was fine for us as an overnight stay and it is only a few mins drive to Sancerre and there are a few local wineries in and around the village.

A perfect place, surrounded by the peace and tranquillity of vineyards. The property full of character had a modern interior. Our hostess was very friendly and helpful.
