Overview
This 19th century country house, situated in the Alcanar Oasis in the south of Tarragona, was used by Alfonso XII as a summer retreat. Here, within this enclosed area, encircled by orange groves, you will feel like royalty. Within these peaceful surroundings, you can go for a cycle ride, swim in one of the 2 outdoor pools and play a game of mini golf. The beach and port area are a short walk away, where you can soak up the sun and watch the play of boats on the water. “A little piece of paradise”
Everything was perfect from check-in to check-out. The lady at the reception was incredibly kind and allowed us to check in earlier, as we were very tired after our journey — she truly is an angel. She was friendly, welcoming, and made us feel at home from the very first moment. We absolutely loved the tropical house with the jacuzzi — it was definitely worth the money. We had an amazing, restful stay. The house was warm, spotless, and very comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would happily come back again.

“good food and comfortable stay”
Full points: We were informed that the main restaurant, Citrus, would be closed for the evening. However, when wer enquired, they agreed to stay open just for the two of us. A very upscale restaurant, and the best meal and wine pairing we had had for a long time.

Third time here, and for good reason! We feel like king and queen from start to finish—from the easy parking and friendly reception to the cool new glass lift and our amazing suite. “Nice hotel for a escape and rest”
Nice hotel for a scape and some days of chilling. We got a room with a big balcony, which was quite spacious and comfortable. The pool area was nice and with a lot of chairs and space so we did not feel too close to other guests. Breakfast had many options and some fresh ones we could ask from the kitchen, including vegetarian and lactose free milk which for us was a plus. They have two restaurants on the place, both very nice however quite pricey. Not much option of food in the hotel besides some small snacks on the bar. Staff was super friendly. Free parking lot at the location. They had free bikes to use as well which was nice - but the bikes really needed some better care to be honest, they were not at the best shape.
