“Good value stay with comfy basics”
We stayed here for two nights as a stopover. Due to the many negative reviews, we were prepared for the worst, but we were positive about our stay. I think we may have gotten lucky with the type of room, but it was clean, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom had been recently renovated. The room itself is a little bit outdated and some lamps didn’t work, but that didn't bother us during our stay. The breakfast is not very extensive, but it is good and tasty. As described in other reviews, the hotel does feel a bit deserted and the swimming pools are indeed out of use, but we were aware of this in advance. For the price of the accommodation (especially compared to other accommodations in the area), that was not a problem for us. We didn't go to the gym or wellness centre, so we can't say whether that was working properly and looks as advertised. Check-in with the lockbox and the keys was easy. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would probably book again.

If you know how to fly lowcosters and how to rent a car without paying extras (aka you actually read terms and conditions) - you’ll love the place. We had no problem at all, everything was clear and worked well.

Extremely noisy! Since there is no reception, people feel allowed to shout in the hallways. I was awakened by hikers at 4 a.m. – an experience to forget! We will also overlook the fact that communication was only in German...
