The hotel combines medieval charm and modern amenities incredibly well. It is immaculately clean and has been recently renovated, while retaining elements of the old interior. The hosts are very friendly. This hotel is located in an incredibly beautiful place. A big plus in the Spanish heat is the swimming pool in the hotel garden.

Great service always with a smile, everywhere was spotless and newly decorated with very good taste. The hotel is right in the heart of Lerma which is a very beautiful town.

A beautifully renovated property, close to the main square in Lerma and lots of restaurants. The owners were absolutely charming and very accommodating when we arrived early. The breakfast was very good and it was possible to park in the street outside. Excellent value for money and a must stay when visiting Lerma

Welcoming, clean, quiet, beautiful

The welcome was lovely. We arrived early and the owners were pleased to greet us. They explained the facilities well leaving us to get on with enjoying the covered pool and extensive garden facilities. Toilets and shower at the pool, toilets in reception autolights as you walked through the house, a lovely breakfast of fruit juice, fruit salad, bread and irebico ham and an assortment of cakes and biscuits, which we don't do in Britain, but are available at every Spanish breakfast. Lerma is a small but important village, and the hotel el cerro is within a 5 minute walk of everything. Perfect for a one or two night stay. We intended to play golf, but it was too hot. If you go to play golf 3 nights is orobably OK. Great value, lovely people. And the hostess speaks decent English, but the lady who does breakfast has very good English.

Great welcome. GPS let us down. Lovely receptionist talked us in. Beautiful property sympathetically restored and brought up to modern facilities. Breakfast was superb. Local fare served with care and pride and fresh. No full English here! Excellent Spanish breakfast!

“Beautiful property in a picturesque town”

This hotel is fantastic and great for an overnight stop on the way to the Santander ferry from Murcia. Lerma is a picturesque little town with lots to see and do. The hosts were lovely and very welcoming and everything was beautifully restored in the village house. My daughter loved the swimming pool and the grounds are fab for relaxing. Looking forward to visiting again and would definitely recommend.
