Overview
In the seaside Poulithra Village, just 170 metres from a shingle beach, lies the traditional Byzantinon Hotel. It offers accommodation with Myrtoan Sea views. Free Wi-Fi in all areas and free private parking are provided. The traditional mansion, built in the local architectural style, retains an old-time glamour. Its guest rooms are carefully furnished with Coco-mat mattresses and flat-screen TVs. Some have traditional iron beds. Guests can start their day with a traditional breakfast including homemade pies and jams, fresh eggs and freshly squeezed juices. The picturesque village of Poulithra spreads amphitheatrically from the verdant foot of Mount Parnon to the crystal-clear, placid waters of the Myrtoan Sea. It is 8 km southeast of Leonidio. Guests will find taverns and cafés within a short walk.

Very welcoming reception.The room was spacious, great bed and well furnished with a lovely view over the water. Well equipped bathroom too. Very good breakfast served on the terrace and free parking too? Highly recommended. 10/10!

“Perfect place to stay”
Everything. The room was huge and well equipped, breakfast was excellent and the host made us very welcome, it was a short walk to the beach where there were a few restaurants along the pebbly beach and sunbeds and umbrellas. So good we are returning in a few days.

Very friendly and helpful owners. Lovely location with great sea views. Quiet and peaceful, with nearby tavernas and bar within walking distance. Very enjoyable traditional Greek breakfast.

Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, nice breakfast, and the management and staff were very welcoming and helpful people. We managed to lose the room key but the manager resolved the issue without fuss, very professional in resolving ingredients the matter.

“Very good value for money!”
We got a lovely welcome by Christos at Byzantinon hotel. The place is spotless clean and rooms are very large. (I mentioned tis to Christos and he said ours was one of the smaller rooms!) The area is absolutely beautiful and quiet. Christos advised me a nice hike. Very good breakfast. In total: great value for money, can recommend!

Beautiful hotel, run by a family, lovely people. Very, very clean. Good location, close to the beach, not far from Leonodio and all climbing areas. Parking space available at the site. Some good food options nearby as well. Breakfast very good, and plenty of food.

George welcomed us with great charm and funny stories. Very clean room with love for detail and beautiful view. Best bed we had in Greece. Christos and his parents are an exampel for the best greek hospitality. Christos gave us useful information about places to visit and we had nice conversations. The breakfast is lovely with home made pies and marmelades. We will come back. Thanks a lot

The setting of the Hotel Byzantinon and the views on the sea and on the mountains are perfect. The rooms are comfortable and elegant. The warm hospitality of the host and of staff is tremendous. The breakfast offers a rich selection and is delicious.

“Best place to stay”
A fabulous family run hotel in a wonderful location. The hotel is beautiful inside and out and we had a wonderful sea view from our private terrace. The breakfast had many options and was delicious. The best part was the wonderful staff. We are so glad we found this hotel and wish we could have stayed longer.

“What a nice suprise!”
What a joy to have discovered this place. The road leading to Byzantinon is absolutely magnificent. The house is super pleasant, with a view of the sea, and the welcome from the owners is wonderful. They are very warm, cultured and full of good advice. The hotel is comfortable, impeccably clean and bright. The place is super calm and relaxing. Within minutes of our arrival we were already regretting having only booked for one night. The nearby beach is beautiful, the water is clear and the restaurant by the water is divine. The breakfast is very good with fresh and homemade products. And of course a visit to the magnificent village of Leonidio is a must. Thank you for this magnificent (too short) stay. We will come back as soon as we can, of course!

“Restful and comfortable stay in pleasant surroundings”
Great location overlooking the Myrtoan sea. One minute walk to the beach where you can find some shade under the trees and walk over nice pebbles to the clear sea water for a swim. After a good swim and sun soak walk across the pebbles to Myrtoon restaurant for some fantastic Greek food and fish. The hotel is very clean with good amenities and the staff friendly and helpful.
