“new hotel in the heart of Leon”
The place is very new and you can really feel it. Everything is clean and fresh. The bed was super comfortable. The view on the cathedral is amazing.

“Not recommended at all”
The worst experience ever. Me and my friend are travelling over 10 years using Booking and other platforms and have never seen ignorance such big as in this place. We booked our stay one week earlier to ensure that we can smoorhly arrive for Christmas and have some place to relax after 11 hours of travelling from Salvador. We arrive to the Terraza Catedral Hostal and receive information that the booking price is not correct and if we want to stay, we need to pay double. Double price! They said that Booking has changed the prices which I truly not belive as I used Booking from both sides, as traveller but also managing hotels and hostels. It's human error, which happens, but when it happens you need to take responsability for it. We proposed to pay half of the doubled price which seemed to be fair for us and the hostal, as it was exactly in the middle what we have booked and what they wanted to charge us. They haven't agreed to this neither. To be honest, we didn't want to stay in such place anymore. They had one week to cancel our reservation, or to write us the message. They said again that they had problems with booking and tried to show us that they do not even see our reservation. I have told them exactly where they need to click and surprise, our reservation appeared! So again I do not belive that booking has changed something, as they are new, they just don't know how to use it and want than people arriving to take consequence of it. Very unfair play. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

the location and the staff are very good. the facilities are good but need a bit more attention, our lock for the bathroom was from the outside. overall recommended place
