The ladies working in this hostel were so lovely and I loved the breakfast and the fact that they served it to us, everything was clean and they offered a laundry service too

Nice place, nice people. Steel bunks with power, no light no curtain. Useful kitchen. Included breakfast was good.

Staff are very slow at check-in, very nosy afterwards. At check-in they tell everyone they only accept cash but they have a card machine that works perfectly well

Lovely atmosphere, easy to get to know everyone. Garden with comfy chairs and a hummingbird😊 Enough space in the dorm to put your luggage. Nice common area with hammocks and lots of books! Very, very clean! 2 breakfast options, pancake one a bit sparse(just one) but tasty . Quiet yet central location.

Private room with its own bathroom - clean, comfy, and private. Hostel felt welcoming, social, and quiet. Staff were friendly, and check-in/out was easy. Location was convenient, safe, and close to food and shops.

I had a great time at the El Jardin hostel! I was looking for a place away from the very popular (and noisy) Bigfoot Hostel while not being too far as I had booked a few activities with them. It was almost perfect and I would go back there in a heartbeat. My private room was very comfortable and simple. There were windows with mosquito net only (no glass) so I was afraid I would hear noise all night, but it turned out not too bad. Just mind your volume if you're speaking on the phone. The interior garden between the rooms and the kitchen is adorable, as well as the backyard. Some of the staff could not speak English, but they were still full of kindness. The breakfast was delicious and I would look forward to it every morning. I met very nice and inspiring travellers, who were the icing on the cake. I hold very good memories from this place, even though I wish I could've stayed longer.

The hostal is close to the city center and provides transfer to the beach. The room was clean and had all the required equipment except air conditioning. We haven’t tried breakfast, but the coffee was great. A lady at the reception helped us with the transfer to San Juan Del Sur which was really nice.

“A disappointing experience compared to other hostels”

Not far from the bus station. The towels were big and soft. Staff were pleasant. The breakfast was nice if a little small.
