The staff were genuinely kind and welcoming, especially given we arrived very late after a long travel day. The pool area is a great feature and has a relaxed, social feel. It was also nice to see local families enjoying the space over the long weekend, which gave it an authentic, lively atmosphere.

Very friendly staff, they let us check-in super early and we're helpful with answers to all of our questions. They let us store our bags for free whilst we went camping on the Telica Volcano. The pool was very busy on the weekend as it's open to non-guests, but otherwise it was a quiet and relaxing stay!

Everything was perfecto. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the pool is dreamy (and so needed), the rooms are beautiful and clean. The rooms are decorated so nicely. It's a very peaceful, green space with fruit trees and plenty of birds (watch out for falling mangoes!) A fantastic base to explore a really cool city. We opted for fan only as on a budget but would recommend AC as the mosquito net on the bed prevents cooler air. Our drinks bill at the end wasn't quite correct as we had paid for some on our first night but they amended it, no worries. Thank you Casa Abierta. We would 100% return. You've set the bar for Nica accommodation very high! <3

Very nice place with a large pool you really can do swimming as sports in. Very nice cosy rooms.

Amazing Hostal. More pricey than others but it’s worth it. Helpful staff, amazing rooms with very comfortable beds and a nice view out to the pool and sky. I will come again

“Beautiful calm hide away”

We loved staying at Casa Abierta. The rooms are spacious, the beds are really comfortable. We really enjoyed the big pool to cool down in hot Leon. The staff were very kind. Would definetly come again!

Location, swimming pool and restaurant

Excellent location, just round the corner from the main square but just far enough to be still peaceful. Fantastic pool right outside the room (pick no.4!), staff really nice. Leon is an awesome place to visit,great restaurants and amazing surroundings with all the activities you could wish for! Highly recommend!

The location is excellent. The pool area is beautiful, and the rooms are tastefully decorated. The bed was large. Good breakfast with delicious home made bread. The staff was generally friendly and helpful.
