The hosts/owners were extremely welcoming and helpful, even in my very broken basic Spanish they were very patient and helped organise my laundry for a very good price and helped me with photocopies that I needed for my shuttle to El Salvador. The location was very good also, literally 5 minutes away from the white cathedral and really easy to walk to the main museums, places to eat etc. I liked the courtyard which was nice and felt fresher to sit in during the hot days rather than staying in the room. The area was quiet and I had many peaceful sleeps which was important to me as I was working remotely EU hours. Internet worked fine for my work (video calls, emails etc. Included). When I first arrived there were a couple of mosquitos in the room but on the second/third day I think they did a fumigation and I didn't see any mosquitos in the room after that which was good for me. The size of the room was perfect for me and I found that the storage available was really well thought out and there was more than adequate space to place my belongings and hang my stuff.

The location is excellent, just 2 blocks down the big cathedral. The hostal itself is beautiful, quiet, and relaxing; a spacious, well attained garden, with many places to sit/work/relax; the rooms draped all around it. A big plus for smokers; you don’t have to go onto the street, but just enjoy your ritual in the garden. There’s free coffee & drinking water available all day. The room itself is basic, but everything you need, and complemented by the garden. The fan inside is as required, very powerful. Also the woman who owns/runs the place is truly wonderful! 😊 she has a great presence, is friendly, easy going, and super helpful when u have any questions or need assistance. She made me smile.

Had an amazing stay at Los Berrios. Perfect location, right outside the city center. It was possible to park our car inside, which was amazing and made us feel very safe. The rooms were clean and the hotel has a nice outdoor seating area with plants, which made it feel very peaceful. The host was incredibly helpful in arranging things for our trip. Really recommend this place!

“The rooms are apparently very different”

I stayed in a double room for a couple of nights and loved it, so i came back for the single room. The difference between the rooms were huge. This single room looked kinda dirty with black colors on the white wall, the bed had a whole and thus made it uncomfortable. Also the smell was not great. I'd still recommend you to stay here as the staff is amazing, the location is great and everything was fine. Just keep in mind that the rooms might be different.

Amazing place to stay while exploring Leon! The host us very kind and said hi e erytime we met. She also booked all my shuttles and made sure they'd come pick me up - very helpful. The bed and pillows were great and the room clean.

This is a great place to stay in Leon. The hosts are friendly, efficient, and helpful. The lovely rooms are built around a really attractive, shady garden with lots of seating and tables. Everything is clean and well maintained. It's only a short walk to the centre of this fascinating town. I had a fabulous time. Many thanks to my hosts for their very warm welcome.

Lovely quiet property with a nice outdoor area to sit in. The owners are very friendly / welcoming. Central to the centre of Leon. The fan was much needed given the heat of Leon.

The people were very friendly, I arrived half an hour early and they received me to accommodate me, which made me arrive early to my appointment. Very quiet to sleep and the other guests were absolutely nice.
