“Would have liked to stay longer lovely terrace to enjoy the views”

Lovely hotel with excellent country side views near a small village. Good food options friendly staff

The staff were super friendly, from the start they informed us about the pool and spa working ours and they also gave us so many informations about the hiking path around the hotel. We also booked the dinner within the hotel and that was also great, Everything we had at dinner and breakfast were so delicious. Spa and swimming pool were also very relaxing and comfortable.

Nice stay for a weekend in general. The food is really good overall the dinner buffet that we really enjoyed the taste of the food. The staff is very kind and helpful.

The view was stunning from the room, our large panoramic window gave us a stunning high up view of the surrounding countryside and mountains. The pool, although very functional in appearance was lovely to make use of. Gorgeous walks near by, and easily accessible for mixed abilities.

Location great. Our rooms were clean and presentable. Overall the meals (buffet dinner and breakfast) were good. Pool size was good. Out of season - so not too many other guests therefore, relatively relaxed. Good "play area" for the kids (and adults) to amuse themselves

I visited this property for a 3 rd time now only because of the location. I. My first visit the staff was entirely different quite warm in Bavarian dresses serving amazing food at dinner and a tastier and vast spread of breakfast. That is why I took along my friend once in June and another in Sept 2024. I was highly disappointed both times seeing the lethargic approach in customer service and a minimalist breakfast Espresso for me as a vegetarian there were lesser options Earlier cut fresh fruits were served on all days now they are limited to Sundays I guess as I didn’t get them on Fri and Saturdays on my both last trips. Overall the mgmt seems to be cutting corners everywhere which is disappointing

Good

staff was very helpful and nice, the room was clean and cosy. Balcony has super nice, fresh view from the high altitude! Hotel bar is very cosy and stuff was very friendly.

Beautiful view, the hotel gives you the real feeling of Schwarzwald. The whole staff had a smile on their face no matter what. That gives everyone a relaxing feeling. Very nice breakfast. If you want to relax (without small kids 😄) then this place is definitly a superb choice. I did have small kids with me so i feel a bit sorry for the other guests, but we were there for only 1 night. 😊

The location is exceptional! It is a good place for family.
