“OK for one night”
The lady of the house is very very nice, friendly and easy going, very accommodating. The house is right next to the train station which is great if you want to go to Lyon by train (probably better then by car), and for us the location was great because if was just off the highway on our way home. We had a room with a view on the train station and it was not loud at all, bit I can imagine in a summer when you keep your windows opened it can be quite loud. Also the house it's charming but old, so the floorboards squick, the doors don't open or close quietly, so you can hear just about every movement of everybody else staying there. It was OK for one night but I can't imagine staying longer. You also share a bathroom and a kitchen with everybody there (there are three rooms altogether), so you can't really expect it to be quiet. Breakfast is self made (the table is set but if you want some eggs you have to make them yourself) but you have all the ingredients at your disposal, bread, butter, jams, coffee, tea, eggs....
