Surrounded by impressive mountain scenery, Hotel Waldrand is located in Lenk in the Simmen Valley. It offers a restaurant serving regional specialities, a sun terrace, free WiFi, and free parking. Lovely food..excellent evening meals if you wished to eat in the hotel. Very comfy bed, soft towels. Spacious room. Very quiet. Close to Lenk swimming pool.

“A home away from home, great to relax”
Very cosy, simple and friendly hotel outside the village. Barbara and Thuri welcome their guests almost like personal friends, and are helpful with special requests. It felt like a home away from home! The building is a typical Simmental house and the rooms are done up in warm wood. The restaurant offers wonderful typical Simmental dishes, and the generous breakfast buffet is included. Plenty of deck chairs and benches to hang out in the bog garden. Highly recommended!

“Good location. Clean hotel. Quaint and family-run vibe. Feels more like a B and B than a hotel.”
Very clean hotel. Daily room servicing. Quaint atmosphere. 2 min. drive to Wallegg ski lift lot. Easy check in and check out. Good breakfast - all the regulars: boiled eggs, coffee machine, breads/rolls, meats and cheeses.

“Great budget place”
Breakfast was superb. The staff was kind and nice. My only issue was that I could not get CNN on the TV. Not sure if I didn't search properly. It was also not mentioned in the hotel book/Manual

The breakfast was rich. An excellent full buffet (English and continental breakfast). The hotel is in an excellent location. The restaurant should offer simpler and cheaper menus, especially if it intends to accommodate families on a tight budget. The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful. However, it is clear that there is a lack of staff and that the owner is not present (a problem in many small and medium-sized hotels).

The location was a picturesque post card type and the view from the room was gorgeous. The landlady was extremely polite. Breakfast was super good.

Close to a lift, you could use nearby bunny slope lifts to get to the top easier (3 changes), but ski down almost to hotel. There is indoor pool facility just nearby. Clean and renovated bathroom. There was small play corner for kids not mentioned here.
