Overview
Hotel Alpenruh is a traditional hotel in Lenk in the beautiful Simmin Valley. It offers a hearty breakfast each morning, and simple rooms with light wooden furniture and satellite TV. Lenk is a popular ski resort, and the nearest ski slopes are just a 5-minute walk away from the Alpenruh. In summer months, guests can explore Lenk’s scenic hiking and cycling trails. Drivers can use the Hotel Alpenruh’s private parking spaces for free. Lenk im Simmental Train Station is also just 100 metres away. During the summer season, the cable cars to Betelberg and Metschstand are included in the price of a hotel overnight stay. Guests also receive a SIMMENTAL CARD, which includes the free usage of all bus routes at Lenk (except the Laubbärgli route) and discounts on certain summer activities. During winter season, all bus routes at Lenk, including ski bus ‘Lenk station – valley station Betleberg – valley station Metsch’, can be used free of charge and guests can benefit from further discounts for certain winter activities.

“Comfortable stay in Lenk”
Very warm welcome. Room spacious and comfortable. Location central. Breakfast good selection. I liked the complementary cable car pass that came with the room. Good value for money. I had a room with a balcony which was nice.

“Simple hotel in Lenk. Perfect for ski weekend”
Simple hotel with extremely accommodating staff. The location is perfect - right next to lenk train station, walking distance from betelberg ski field and a short bus ride from the bigger adelboden-lenk ski resort.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. Location was right next to centre, easy walk to all facilities, and right next to bus and train stop. Car parking was also free and right next to hotel.

The room was very spacious with a great view. The breakfast was simple and good. Very cosy atmosphere. The staff was very helpful and kind. Especially Sonia who took care of every detail and question we had, and was very considerate, She even helped us with train booking. The place is very welcoming , we had a fantastic stay, I truely recommend !

Great hotel. I stayed in a large room with south and west facing balcony and a sink. Furniture is solid quality. You think this is Swiss made. It's a smaller village. The hotel is centrally located. On the second floor, one shared toilet and shower for women and men, respectively. I don't think anyone else were on the floor. So, the facilities were available. Friendly people. I got the sense it's family owned and run. A woman gave me a couple of options for the onward hike on Via Alpina. Also recommended a local bakery. Which had good coffee. Breakfast was buffet style with great options. Thanks!

“Very nice hotel, great mountain view”
I really like this hotel. Our room was large and had a beautiful view on the mountains. We had a shared bathroom (sink in room) and the bathroom was very clean. The hotel is located in the center of Lenk, with plenty of things to do in the area. Breakfast was good, the staff was incredibly friendly.

For sure the kindest hosts I have ever stayed with; they made me feel like home. We got a reginal bus/ ski lift pass included in the tarif which was amazing (summer).
