This pousada is perfectly integrated in the surroundings: there’s a very high respect for nature and the environment, and this can be perceived throughout the whole staying. The rooms are simple, well furnished, spacious and always very clean. However, the best part of the staying is definitely breakfast: it’s worth the whole trip. It is served on the terrace (protected by the rain) and the view of the landscape from there is just amazing. Furthermore, there’s an additional terrace on the roof which has a wonderful view of the whole city of Lencois (perfect at sunset). The city centre is a ten minute walk. The staff was nice, and always available! There’s a private parking area, so parking the car is pretty easy!

This pousada is perfectly integrated in the surroundings: there’s a very high respect for nature and the environment, and this can be perceived throughout the whole staying. Lovely stay. Beautiful place with lots of nice chilled areas with good views. Aircon worked well, hot shower and comfy bed! Easy to get into town but quite away from busyness.

The accommodation was overall very nice, pousada is situated in a very beautiful garden a bit further from the city centre, but not too far away. The room was spacious and clean, the breakfast great, with many options.

The breakfast was amazing, especially with the view and occasional visit from little monkeys. The overall Pousada is gorgeous, nestled within the forest. Our room was really clean and comfortable.

Great accommodation with a super comfortable bed and very tasty breakfast! Location is up the hill / walk from the Centre but also makes it quiet and peaceful

“Cute clean and well organized poussada”

Although a bit on the outskirts of times, the poussada was well located overlooking the town and surrounded by dense tropical vegetation. There’s a cute dog and cat that roam around the terrain. Staff was really helpful to prepare a full breakfast before 700am because we were leaving for Chapada Diamantina. Rooms have airconditioning!

The place feels like you are in the jungle. There are monkeys coming next to the breakfast area. Breakfast is great btw and changes every day. Also the hammock areas are fantastic

The room was spacious and clean, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good and the room had a mini bar, a nice surprise. The pousada is located up hill from the town and surrounded by nature. Very quiet and comfortable

The staff were extremely helpful with our early check in. They made a video to show us how to check in by ourselves after we arrived at 5am having taken the sleeper bus from Salvador. The breakfast was in a beautiful setting - we saw marmosets and lots of different birds including hummingbirds. We had a great stay!

“Relaxed Pousada with great views over Lencois”

I became a big fan of Lencois and the Chapada Diamantina National Park and am glad to have stayed at this beautiful and quiet Pousada. It is located quietly on top of a hill (in reality a 10 minutes - if uphill -walk from the historical center and bus station) and has amazing views over the valley. Staff was super friendly and I this must have been my favorite breakfast buffet of my whole stay in Brazil. The rooms are super clean, comfortable and have quick wifi and a mini bar handily filled with water and some ice cold beer. It's a perfect retreat after a day full of action in the park and I would have loved to spent a couple of nights more.
