“Over my expectations, cheap and nice I would love to stay a bit more nights.”

It’s a country cottage surrounded by reindeers, we were very happy with the size of the house, and the sauna was super good!

The hosts are very kind and pleasant. They explained everything in detail about how to check in and were very kind to us. We only rented the house for an overnight stay, so we didn't have time to appreciate the natural beauty. The house has everything you need. I think it's a great option for summer living. the price for Lapland is very good.

Location for aurora was amazing! We have been so lucky to see that!!!

Location is good. We ate dinner in cafe - was like homemade food, very delicious. In cabin was also everything that You need for cooking. No bedding - just a pillow without a pillowcase.

Location is absolutely amazing. Driving the last a few kilometers you can feel like in a fairy tale. A small farmstead with reindeers. In winter gorgeous and magic place.

The location is wonderful, much more than I expected and perfect to see the northern light that I really saw the first evening. Thank you for the nice experience, very good lunch, for information received but expecially for the boat trip in the autumn colors. The host is really very kind and tried to help me in every way she could.

Traditional wooden barn, with all the luxury you need… Great to have that sauna directly accessible from the shower room. Great restaurant, fantasic traditional lappish food. Very close to the floating piers, where the boating trips take off towards the former gold fields … Worth a trip for a week and daily rides to waterfalls and amazing hiking areas …

Its a very good place, away from the cities, in the middle of the forest for the northern light.. was amazing seeing the northern lights!!

The location is great to visit the National park. You can park your car next to your cottage.

very nice setting. inside the cabin you can see the surrounding woods. Quiet and nice . The owner is helpful, fulfilled our request for some utensils we need for cooking our own meals. It is quite well equipped with fridge, coffee maker, kettle and other kitchen staffs.

The location of Ahkun Tupa is wonderful. There is plenty of beautiful and accessible nature around but not a far drive from a larger town if supplies are needed, etc. It is very convenient and comfortable.

Nice location, we were looking at 11 reindeers in a fence. It was a cosy cabin or cottage. The living room has a full equiped kitchen, fridge, watercooker, coffeemachine. All is very clean. There were 4 beds in the living room, you could sleep with 2 adults in 1 bed, but we found that too small. So we slept seperated. There is a sauna, a clean bathroom. You can beautifull walk over the Lemmenjoki River when it is frozen. So silent. Beautiful! And it is dark there, so we could see some Aurora, unless the kp index was very low, 1. The owners do have a restaurant, where you can eat par example a good filled reindeer soup with vegetables, or a salmon salade with a lot vegetables, or the specialty if the chef. For an acceptable price. It all tasted very well. The cottage is near the Lemmenjoki National Park, a great park to hike. There are snowscooters not allowed. The owners were very frienly and cared a lot of their reindeers.

The hostess was very friendly even we csme later than expected. We had a nice cabin even with a sauna. The cabin has it's own kitchen, fridge, microwave, watercooker, coffeemaker, pots, pans, dishes, kitchen utentils. It has toilet, shower and sauna as well. There were 4 beds, but a little bit small. So we decided to sleep separated, than you have a big space. The environment was very great, we have seen a little bit Aurora, unless the kp index was 1. The cottage is well warmed by electric heating. The cottage looks over 11 reindeers in a fence. The rest of the herd reindeers were somewhere in the firest. We had a beautiful hike over the frozen Lemmenjoki river. In the summer you can make boat trips over that river. The owner has a great respect and love for the animals and the forest. I like that very much. So be respectfull for the owners too. Lemmenjoki National Park is nearby, also great to hike, forbidden for a snowscooter. In the restaurant you can eat a great meal or have a delicious soup with reindeer meat. The environment is very quiet and silence.

Cozy cabin with everything you need next to the start of the walking routes of the nature reserve, and waking up you could see the reindeer & moose from the window of the cottage. Nice owners taking very good care of their guests.

Very beatiful place at lakeside. Very simple beds but comfortable enough to sleep well. There was malfunction in water system resulting in cut of water supply and shower 50 metres away, but that can happen in -25 degrees.
