Overview
22 minutes by car from Mariehamn and surrounded by fields and woodland, this bed and breakfast has a summer café and offers free Wi-Fi. The nearest beach is within 10 minutes’ walk of the property. Amalia’s light and airy bedrooms have are individually decorated. Each comes with shared bathroom facilities. Guests can relax in Amalia's garden or rent a bicycle for exploring the red beach cliffs at Lumparn. A breakfast based on local produce is served each morning. The café serves a variety of home made cakes and pastries. Bikes can be rented to explore the local area, with the Herröskatan nature reserve just 6.3 km away and many spots to be found for fishing along the coast. Lemland town is 5 minutes away by car, and Mariehamn’s Airport is 22 km from the property. The bus for central Mariehamn stops right out side Amalia.

The location is excellent for persons who arrive on a ship in Långnäs (especially if you arrive later in the evening). The breakfast was very good and the toilets were clean and well equiped.

Very nice room, if a little small, with well laid out facilities. Our host was very helpful, she even arranged for the local restaurant (which had just closed for the season) to let us in and provide dinner.

Idyllic place and breakfast was good. Cows at the yard and swing and sandbox for kids. Good place to stay night or two :)

“Traditional and welcoming”
The staff was super helpful and welcoming, and the building and surroundings charming. I've never stayed in prettier rooms! There's a sense of calm to the place, and almost a feeling of being transported back in time. The location is convenient for people driving and cycling, I'm sure, but also for people hiking! There's a bus stop right next to Amalia, which makes exploring Åland on foot convenient. With Amalia as your base camp, you'll have a lovely place to return to after your adventure. The breakfast was good, especially the homemade bread. And at the end of a whole day of hiking, there's nothing better than a cold bottle of lemonade, made in the factory right next door!

Nice experience at Amalia's. The staff were very service oriented and welcome us warmly. We were traveling with a baby and they provide the baby crib, eating chair. Around the property there is a cafe and a store selling nice products. A lot of nature around.

“100% Scandinavian vibes”
Very cute rooms, good breakfast. Good location to discover the island IF you have a bicycle and strong legs. Cute cows nearby. I like the garden to eat breakfast :) Carrot cake is very good.

“Highly-highly recommend!”
Fantastic location- our room windows were facing a beautiful meadow behind the house. The room itself was absolutely gorgeous, extremely lovely, cozy, and spacious. Staff was really nice and welcoming- we had no problems arriving at 1 PM during the night. Gooooood breakfast!

“A beautiful place to stay”
The b&b is beautiful and the breakfast is good. Last time it was better. Room is clean. The facilities are good, although would of needed a little cleaning.
