“best cabin to enjoy scenic view of beach and mountain”
location is not too far from city to get grocery, nice coffee shop, very close to haukland beach, love having laundry machine, good heaters and best of all view from cabin, superb for the price

“Fantastic”
We had an amazing stay here. The house is in a beautiful location. It is set apart with stunning views (we saw the northern lights from the house!), is a short walk from the beach (and a gorgeous coastal walk) and yet is only a short drive from Leknes (the Lofoten Bakeri is incredible). It’s a great base from which to explore Lofoten. The house is full of charm. It is really comfortable (including the beds), fully equipped, the lay out is convivial and practical and the host is super nice and helpful. I highly recommend it.

Everything was great. We spent five days in the accommodation in January, the house was warm and the kitchen was very well equipped. Also, communication was quick.

We travel a lot and we have been to many beautiful and unique accomodations but the old school house might have been one of our most wonderful stays. The house with it's history has a soul, an atmosphere. It is phantastically well equipped with everything you could imagine, it's spacious, the location is a dream and it is so comfy. I came in and was totally "wowed". What a place, so cozy, so special. I loved every moment there.

Great house with lot of wood, lovely details everywhere and nothing is missing. 2 ovens are also great. Kitchen is superbly equipped with everything, beds are comfortable. It is nice and cosy in the entire house. The house is located in easy walking distance to the Hauklandstranda beach and it only takes a a 5 minute drive with the car through the tunnel to Uttakleiv beach, where we had the chance to see northern lights. Leknes is very close as well for easy shopping. Thanks, Rebecca!
