The family that owns the place is incredibly nice. They have cooked us breakfasts and dinners which were delicious, traditional meals, with a big amount of food. The rooms are clean and cosy. Highly recommend the room with the balcony! They unfortunately don't speak English, otherwise, we would have been super excited to ask them a lot of questions about life in Albania and in general I think it would have been nice to chat :) But the communication in general wasn't a problem. The lady was calling her son and you can discuss things with him like that or simply messaging him through booking. There are a few nice day hikes that you can do from there. And in general the place is very calm. Very good if you are looking for a place to escape the chaos of the big cities.

We really enjoyed our stay! The room was very beautiful and offered a fantastic view. We were treated to delicious meals, with fresh fish served in the evening.

“Albanian paradise”

This place is simply amazing. Held by Albanian Christian family (only son speaks English but all family is so friendly and lovely that you can understand each other wothout words). The house stands on a river cliff directly facing the mountains, so breakfast and dinner always come with a beautiful view. All the food (traditional Albanian cuisine) is prepared by the hosts themselves, and it’s incredibly delicious. I recommend choosing a room with a balcony so you can enjoy the stunning view until evening. Just past the bridge, downstream, there are wild beaches where you can find a peaceful spot for swimming. We arrived here by car from Tirana Airport. The entire road was paved and especially scenic—we took the eastern route to Fierza, which is longer and goes through the mountains, but it’s very beautiful. For the return trip, we chose the ferry from the Fierza terminal to Koman (there are several ferries daily and local tour boats as well). A fantastic journey and even more fantastic and super friendly and big heart hosts. I 100% recommend this place to everybody who wants to see real Albania beauty!

“Comfortable homestay with nature at your doorstep.”

Great view. Very nice hosts. Clean and comfortable room. I wanted to go on a small hike the afternoon I arrived, and the grandfather volunteered to show me the way to a nearby viewpoint (so I wouldn't get lost). We did a nice 2 hour loop together, with google translate helping us communicate about the plants, animals, weather. Breakfast was always good and the baked fish (fresh from the lake) and potatoes dinner was yummy. I really enjoyed the "mountain pancakes" that the grandfather made one morning. The teenage son spoke good english, so he was always helpful and shared various things about Albanian history and how things are developing in the area.

“Great place to stay”

Te baca Qerim is a perfect place to visit before/after the Koman-Fierze ferry. The couple running the "Bed and Breakfast" gave us al we needed and even more! The "language issue" was not an issue at all! The son helped out on the video phone if needed. We stayed 2 nights and made a hike into the beatiful valley. Our room with balcony had full valley view and we had our personal table at the terras for beakfast and dinner. On our hiking day they provided take-away lunch!

simple but pleasant and clean accommodation in the heart of the Albanian mountains. we really enjoyed swimming in the river below the accommodation. Friendly and helpfull owners, we especially appreciated the help of the English-speaking grandson

Quaint lovely room, fabulous view, easy parking, very warm welcome.

The view from the guesthouse is just so beautiful. We had all three rooms and a small living room in the middle, and it was very comfortable! The family is very nice and kind. They showed us the best place in the river to take a dip, which is just a 2 minute walk from the guesthouse. Most of the food they grow themselves, the cheeses they served where from their cows, they have a little farm behind the house. Everything was so fresh. What a lovely stay!

They are all friendly and the best guesthouseowners in this area. You should stop by and stay at least two days. Thank you for everything. We are all satisfied!!!

“Beautiful homestay with amazing view”

The hosts were so lovely. Offered drinks and help with whatever we wished for. The dinners were delicious and a lot came from the garden which we really appreciated. They accommodated our food preferences (no meat) very well. Breakfast with amazing views and the cold river nearby to cool off in. Bonus points for the animals (the puppy, omg, that was the cutest thing ever!) roaming around.
