The owner of the property was very welcoming, he cooked us a very tasty meal. He speaks great English, which was very helpful as we don’t speak any Spanish. The property was very clean throughout and nicely renovated. We enjoyed our stay and we would return if we were visiting the area again.

We were very warmly welcomed and the very friendly locals that often seem to eat and drink here add an extra warm vibe to this place. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. We arrived by motorbike and it seems a popular spot for bikers & cyclists. Can totally recommend a cold San Miguel and the tuna pastry after a long day riding :) The area is beautiful and it's just a 30 minute ride to San Sebastian. The rooms are simple but clean and comfortable. I can't wait to come back to this area, ride here and definitely stay again at Lopenea.

Warm welcome, nice place. Agreed to change the date when Booking said we couldn't. Always worth ringing if there is a problem. Gave us information about the town.

Everything was as expected. The town had its fiestas at the time of the visit, so the bar/restaurant downstairs was busy. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy parking.
