Lilja was a fantastic host. She is so friendly and happy to help out with anything during your stay. Her breakfast is absolutely delicious with local produce and fresh baked bread, the house is beautiful, clean and cozy and feels like you are staying with a family member. The location is also a fantastic spot to explore the islands. If we visit the Faroe Islands again we will definitely stay again!

Everything was amazing! The hostess’s warm hospitality, the incredibly delicious and varied breakfasts, the stylish and bright room with heated floors — everything was wonderful. And the charming cat :) Thank you so much, we will definitely come back again!

Excellent, exceptional!! Wonderful experience, the host is lovely and very personable . Makes you feel at home and welcomes you as one of the family, this is particularly important when you are travelling alone and could do with conversation Breakfast is hearty Scandinavian fare , very tasty and all diets accommodated Accommodation was perfect, comfy & homely ❤️ Parking 👍

The breakfast which was varied and typical of the Faroe Islands, the very comfortable rooms with a magnificent view of the water, the very warm welcome and, above all, the morning swim 😉

“Very welcoming host and a lovely room”

The host was really welcoming and very lovely! Especially the breakfast was very delicious and it was very nice to have an indoor whirlpool after a cold and windy hiking day. Everything was very clean and we had a lot of towels which was very nice. Overall, it was perfect stay and we can definitely recommend it!

Great place. Lilja and her husband are very friendly and helpful hosts. Delicious breakfast with homemade and regional food. Comfortable and very clean room. Accomodation is well suited for day trips to many different places on the Faroe Islands.

We came to stay for a long weekend and it was absolutely beautiful. Lilja was just such a lovely caring women and was so helpful and informative. The location and bedroom was stunning. Everything was so beautifully decorated. The jacuzzi is wonderful.

Incredible host - Lilja was like everybody's mum, very kind and thoughtful. You get a bit of living like the local Faroese, especially with the home cooked food that Lilja provides. The house is beautiful and in the centre of the Faroe Islands.

The owners are simply incredible people, we really enjoyed our stay. And Simpa the cat assisted us every morning! :)

“Just like staying with a true Faroese family!”

What makes this place great is the family living in it: great host, a lovable cat and a very cozy accommodation - if you are looking for a more authentic, local experience this is a good place to stay. The house is in a small neighborhood with plenty of parking options both nearby and outside. Both the bathroom and the room were wide and full of amenities and furniture you can use. Breakfast was very good and there's a small common area with a sofa if don't want to chill out alone in your room. WiFi, television and a booklet with information available - and if you need extra help, ask the host!

Our host was delightful and very helpful. She had much local knowledge and cooked us a delicious traditional dinner. The suite was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean.

It was an amazing stay at home with Lilja. Place is very cosy, clean, quiet, the breakfast was delicious. We really enjoyed out stay here :)
