“Old style luxury in old town lecce”

It’s absolutely magnificent. Like staying in a palace. Beautifully decorated with mosaic floors throughout. Huge rooms and with plenty of hanging space. Tommaso was very kind and efficient and always on hand to assist. And the location is right in old town and perfect to walk to everything. We loved every minute of our 4 night stay.

The location was perfect. Lecce is a beautiful city and we walked everywhere. The Palazzo is extraordinary, a real grand house with antiques, but with all modern comfort.... and the floors!!! We had a wonderful time. The owners were super kind and gave us a lot of recommendations.

This was one of the best booking.com apartments we have ever stayed in. Thomasso's family owned palace is huge, spotlessly clean and maintained, in a great location and has everything needed for a wonderful stay.

Steeped in rich family history this amazing find has been such a pleasure to come back to each day. From the intricate tiling and high ceilings to the glorious furnishings it is a wonderful property. The showers were strong, plenty of kitchen facilities, comfortable beds and great wifi connectivity. Grazie 🙏🏽

Just wow! We recently had the great pleasure of staying at Palazzo Pio, the apartment itself was nothing short of spectacular. It was beautifully kept and spotless, with stunning old world features, including gorgeous mosaic floors. The location is perfect, making it easy to explore everything the beautiful Lecce has to offer. The host Tommaso made us feel at home, he was attentive and kind and provided excellent local advice. Without a doubt, this was the best accommodation in Italy we experienced and the warm hospitality made it all the more special.

Wow what an amazing apartment this is. It totally exceeded our expectations and it made us feel like noble people of a bygone age. The tessellated tiles, decorations, high ceilings and even the front door are all amazing. The apartment is spacious with two huge bedrooms, one with an ensuite. There is also a second bathroom, sitting room, entrance, study, huge dining room and spacious kitchen. You also have access to the garden at the back. The location is also good within an easy walk of all the old town sights in Lecce. Whilst it is on a busy road, you can shut the double glazed windows and not hear anything. I would absolutely stay here again if I came back to Lecce.

“Staying in a Palace”

Staying here was a wonderful experience. Tomasso was so helpful and he arranged for us to rent a parking space in a small garage around the corner and I would definitely recommend that. It was a great location for exploring Lecce. The home itself was historic luxury. The mosaic floors were stunning and the rooms were filled with beautiful antique furniture. The garden area was also beautiful. The apartment is very large and grand and we also appreciated all the guide books that were available to us. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Huge apartment in a wonderful palazzo with 2 extremely large bedrooms, dining room with table that seats 18, a lounge, kitchen and a study. There are 2 bathrooms, one is an ensuite. The location is just outside the Centro storico and is a 10 minute walk from the main train station. It is well appointed and includes a washing machine. The palazzo has gardens which you can use for an evening aperitivo or pop downstairs to any of the many bars and restaurants. Perfect. Our host Tommaso was welcoming and provided lots of information. Would happily recommend.

This is the most beautiful place we have ever stayed in. From small details like the bed linens to the gorgeous garden and the cute house cats. The pictures don’t do justice to how special this apartment is. Great communication from the owners too. The palazzo really is a palace! We loved it and were very sad to leave.
