“This was a peaceful setting for rekindling my personal time with my daughter turning 30 soon.”

Breakfast was as described in the brochure - help yourself to a colourful display of fruits, pastries (homemade) protein foods cooked or cold and juices. Then, take the tray to the peaceful setting of the garden outside of your room (all set up for you) or take into the main garden - do as you please. Everything about the place was pleasing. It met all our expectations and a little more. The owners and staff were obliging, even speaking English.

The property is well located in proximity to the historic centre as it’s virtually in the wall of it. There is a car park adjacent making parking convenient though pricey at 30 euro a day.

“A truly incredible stay”

We had a wonderful 2 night stay here as part of our honeymoon in Puglia. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel special, and only having 4 rooms means you’re made to feel part of the family. We even had the bonus of being shown around the family home which made it even more unique. The breakfast was incredible, prepared by hand and we were shown how to eat local dishes. The location is perfect, the Duomo is 5-10 mins easy walk, so we were able to enjoy a full day of exploring Lecce. Parking was easy for us as it was a weekend, we parked on the street for free until Monday morning charging hours. Would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Lecce.

Outstanding property in every way but it is the way the Muratore family welcome you as part of their family which makes it unique and very special. The position is perfect and so close to everything and the garden oasis is a delight and I’m sure in hot weather the pool would be wonderful. The staff were all amazing and helpful in every way so thank you Milena and Stefania. We loved our breakfasts each morning, especially the last morning in our courtyard. The car park at the back door was also a great convenience.

“Unique and authentic Italian experience”

Staying here was such a unique and authentic Italian experience. Tucked right into the heart of Lecce, the accommodation stands directly on the original 16th-century city walls, which is just breathtaking. Since there are only four rooms, it feels incredibly intimate; the owners live on the first floor and are such a friendly family—meeting them and their lovely dog made us feel right at home. The rooms themselves are newly renovated, modern, and spotlessly clean. I was especially impressed that they provided ergonomic pillows, which made a huge difference for a great night's sleep. The highlight of the property is the stunning garden and the communal breakfast area, where everyone sits at one long table like part of a big family. As it was our honeymoon, they went above and beyond with thoughtful gestures, gifting us a traditional Puglian Pumo for prosperity and a little bottle of prosecco to celebrate. They even accommodated a late check-out for a very small fee, which we really appreciated. It was a truly special, high-quality stay.

We loved our stay in the Dimura Muratore, the gardens and the pool are absolutely beautiful, and it is right in the center of Lecce so we could walk around and try different restaurants every day. Highly recommend :)
