“A big disappointment”

Just a below modern standards property overall. Feels like it's stuck in a 1980's DIY job done badly. Needs serious renovation and a deep clean. Worst pillows ever. Worst shower ever. No TV stations or streaming available. No central heating on in the house. No coffee machine in the room. Cobwebs and dirty windows. I could go on..

Everything was perfect. The hotel is in a very quiet location, beautiful surroundings. Very friendly and welcoming hosts. The room was huge and very comfortable, with lovely aircon during the heatwave. We will definitely be back 😊

If I had a joker with 11 points, I would use it right now. A house lost under the canopy of two ancient trees, a room with a touch of luxury, an endless garden, a beautiful pool and two incredibly helpful owners. We love it here!

“A hidden-gem hideaway and a perfect spot to relax and be looked after!”

We are an Irish family, travelling independently with two young children. We wanted a quiet, country setting with a pool, somewhere central in Provence to allow us to explore. The house is in a beautiful countryside setting with lovely grounds. We were a short drive from Avignon, St Rémy and the Alpilles mountains and the wine region. The pool is spotless, with lovely chairs and day beds for lounging and plenty of shady spots too. It's a small B&B so we often had the pool all to ourselves. Our family suite was perfect: clean, tastefully decorated, very comfortable. Brigitte was a welcoming and warm host and the breakfast spread of home-made breads and cakes was a lovely start to every day. We ate there at night also and really enjoyed our ritual of a swim before dinner and then sitting down to lovely French home cooking and local wine each night. We will definitely go back; if you like country living and hidden-gem hideaways, Couleur Lavande is perfect for you.

Breakfast continental was exceptional and beautifully presented eaten in a very pleasant garden. Perfect overnight stop for us, we could easily have stayed longer.

Couleur Lavande is such a beautiful place! The pool was well kept, the room was very large and so nice and quiet. Brigitte and Fabrice are very nice people and gave good recommendations.

The breakfast was probably the best we ever had, fresh bread, cheese, meats, homemade jams & scones together with freshly squeezed orange juice etc etc. Wonderful quiet location. The bedroom was fit for a Princess with superb expensive linen.

Lovely location near to many attractions in the area. not far from Avignon TGV. Very friendly couple, Brigitte and Fabrice gave us a wonderful welcome, nothing was too much for them. Quirky interesting quiet room with very comfortable beds, very clean and has air conditioning. Breakfasts and dinners were ample and delicious eaten outside in the garden. The pool was especially welcome after a hot day visiting. We had four lovely and stress free days. can highly recommend this B&B with dinner on request. it is exceptional.
