The location is ideal and a great base for exploring the area. The Breakfasts were well beyond our expectations and the choice was not just limited to a Continental Breakfast . Other options were offered and nothing was a bother.

It is a beautiful property , renovated in traditional style with large bedrooms . It is very peaceful , backing into fields with great view from the bedroom. Jean Marc, our host could not have been more helpful, whether giving advice on the local area, making us feel comfortable and even offering a lift into and pick up from Avignon .

Nestled in the Provence countryside, Le Mas Saint Jaques is a haven of relaxation just a few minutes drive from Avignon. Everything was perfect! The warm hospitality and the verve of the owner Jean-Marc, the spacious rooms, equipped with all comforts, the pool, and the delicious breakfast served outside on the veranda. We could have not found a more beautiful place than this!

Jean-Marc, proprietor -perfect host, very helpful without in any way being intrusive. He derived satisfaction from ensuring the accomodation and breakfast were delightful. Passionate in what he does making the experience unforgettable. .

Jean-marc was such a lovely host and made sure we had everything we needed. Very generous breakfast and two absolutely lovely dogs that made our stay even better. Beautiful views, great room and wonderful bathroom. Really romantic and rustic feel to the farmhouse. We also got some lovely honeymoon gifts. Overall an amazing and memorable experience 😍

Jean-marc has a beautifully restored Bed & Breakfast in the French countryside that you must stay at! The property is lovingly decorated with beautiful antiques, and is located just east of Avignon, providing easy access to touring all directions of Provence. Jean-marc is a warm and friendly host that literally opens his home to you as his guest. We shared a few dinners with him as he let us use his kitchen to prepare a meal at the end of our long days. In addition, his dogs Molly and Foxy are the cutest dogs you will ever find. Our room was the largest of the 3 guest rooms and it was very large with a big bathroom with double sink, clawfoot bathtub with a separate shower and separate WC. The room had a special view to the farm fields behind the house and it was very quiet. Jean-marc had taken special care to provide his guests with every need necessary for a comfortable stay. Breakfast is the most delicious breakfast that you can imagine. He provides a wide selection of food for you to try including honey from the farm and homemade jams. Jean-marc takes a lot of pride in the service he provides you and it shows and we felt like we never wanted to leave. I can't say enough about our stay in Jean-marc's accommodation except - don't look any further, you will love it and find a new friend in Jean-marc, as we did.

Jean-Marc is an amazing host, taking care of every single thing and always preparing an amazing French breakfast with a smile on his face. It feels like being home in a beautiful environment. The swimming pool is a big plus as well! Located just 10min maximum from Avignon city centre.

Nothing to be said what other visitors did not say yet. Jean-Marc is the natural born host and will ensure that you have an absolutely pleasant stay. Just wait for the breakfast service... The >150 year old estate and surroundings almost feel like a castle. Plenty of space inside, outside and in the pool. 5 - 6 km to one of the big (free) parking lots just outside of the old town of Avignon.

Truly the best b&b we have stayed at. The room is clean and large , decorated in true Provençal style. The sunset! Can be seen from our room. Of course the host was so lovely and warm , we loved the dogs too . A true gem. Merci♥️

Le Mas Saint Jacques is phenomenal and one of its kind. This B&B has a very special atmosphere which will make you feel right at home and treated like an honoured guest at the same time. The owner, Jean Marc, went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect, accommodating our every wish even sometimes before we could think of it ourselves. He amply provided us with great local tips and took real interest in our excursions in the area. The beautiful breakfast is absolutely terrific. The room was wonderful and felt authentic in a most charming way. Our kids adored playing with the kind black dog Molly and splashing around in the pool as well as playing near the house. Jean Marc and his lovely daughters run a very special place indeed, and we ended up extending our stay from 3 to 5 days. You are lucky if you come across this place on your travel - we sure hope to come back again another time.
