“A charming, quiet apartment”
What a nice surprise !!! We just wanted to find a place to stay on the way from Paris to Hendaye. We found a great apartment with a garden in the beautiful old town of Le Dorat. We were welcomed by a kind and very helpful host. The apartment is in a quiet place with a beautiful view of the garden and the old town. Perfectly equipped, very clean, furnished with great taste.

“Wonderful.”
This is a wonderful place to stay. The hosts, Sheree and Morgan, are friendly and kind. When it comes to making you feel welcome they go the extra mile (but not intrusive like other hosts). You have everything you need here and much much more. A real gem in the centre of Le Dorat.

“We had an extremely relaxing break and are ready to book our next stay at Belle Vue in the autumn.”
The property was a Gite rather than just an apartment. The hosts could not have done more for us, having provided fresh provisions for our arrival, which included a lovely bottle of red wine. They were able to offer us useful information about the area. The grounds were immaculately kept and the Gite and outside sitting area were well thought out and resourced, providing areas for sitting in the sun and shade. Whilst the property afforded us an extremely relaxing break with all the local amenities we required, Le Dorat also has a railway station with services to Limoges and Poitiers for exploring further afield.
