Overview
Situated in Le Châble, in the building of the cable car, this mountain hostel offers private and shared accommodation a 2-minute walk from the train station. The Mont-Fort Swiss Lodge rooms come equipped with heating and a work desk. In the morning, the hostel serves breakfast in the dining room. Several restaurants are located less than 2 km away. Guests can watch a film in the communal TV room. Nearby leisure activities include skiing, hiking, rock climbing and mountain biking. The Mont-Fort Swiss Lodge is 150 km from Geneva International Airport and can be easily reached with the local St. Bernard Express Train which runs from Martigny and finishes in Le Châble. Free public parking is possible on site.

I stay here everytime I go to Verbier and never dissapointed. Lovely staff, nice breakfast and great location. Great price point and only 10 mins gondola ride up to Verbier!

“Did the job that we were after. Amazingly convenient from a location perspective.”
Breakfast did the job. Location cannot be bettered ... literally part of the gondola station that takes you up to Verbier.

“No frills but good hotel right inside the skilift terminal”
Basic hotel right inside the skilift terminal, so transfer to Verbier in 10 minutes. Breakfast was simple but fine. Hotel has all the necessary facilities, sober, but affordable.

“I had to leave”
I never got into my room. The key they left me did not work, and no-one at from the reception was answering on the phone, even though they said that i could contact them if I had any issues. Do I was not able to get to my room - even though I arrived for my check in around 20h30. First answer I got was the next day at 8h30. I was very disappointed by this experience. Never have I experienced something similar.

“Best value for money near Verbier - just be careful where to park so you don't get a fine!”
Top value for money ! One thing to look out if going by car: park in the right area or local police will fine you (NOT the hotel's fault). Staff are friendly, rooms basic but clean, getting from your bed to the telecabin takes about 5 minutes.

It is a basic hotel, but on the basics it delivers. Perfect location and a clean room with a nice bed and private bathroom. Breakast was essential, but very nice. I appreciated to have fresh bread with Salami and cheese. Staff is available on call.

“Close to the Verbier lift!”
Convenient location at the lift station so easy to go to Verbier. We visited in summer and were given a guest card which allowed us to use some lifts for free. This made the stay much better value. The hostel is simple but modern and clean. The staff communicated well.
