“Beautiful home with excellent host”

Villa Florida is set in lovely gardens with a pool. The bedrooms are comfortable and beautifully furnished. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. Attention to detail is excellent. The whole house is uniquely furnished and guests can use all the facilities available. Maurice is the perfect host. He ensures your comfort and is knowledgeable about places of interest to visit. We needed to use our phones to translate which was fun. I cannot recommend Villa Florida highly enough...try it, you won't be disappointed.

From our arrival, Maurice was the perfect host, very welcoming and gave us ideas of places to visit during our stay. The breakfasts were great, the ambiance of the property was lovely and quiet. The pool was wonderful to return to at the end of a host day. Would highly recommend Villa Florida and especially Maurice.

Maurice is an absolutely delightful host with a great personality. He can tell you some terrific stories and the breakfast he makes is really great. He didn't speak any English but always has google translate handy to help with anything that we needed. Unfortunately we didn't get the opportunity to accept his invitation to share a drink with him during our short stay but the warm welcome was very much appreciated. All aspects of the Villa seemed to be very well thought-out with numerous subtle accents which add up to an overall meticulous and welcoming experience. We appreciated the small guide lights which helped when my partner and I were returning late in the night and air conditioning was a huge save during the summer when we stayed. His place is kept very clean and tidy with generally pleasing decoration (the room we stayed in was "pink" themed).

Maurice is a helpful and friendly host with a good sense of humor. He has given us good additional ideas for our sightseeing activities. The location is very quiet and the plot is big enough to play badminton, mini-basketball and enjoy a good swim in the pool. If we had a better command of French, we could have learned much more about the area and him. Overall, we had a tiptop time and it was a great experience. Merci Maurice!
