“Great stay in a lovely chalet.”

We stayed for 5 winter nights in this fantastic Chalet Barbara. It's a very comfortable, spacey yet homely house, with 3 en-suite bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. Big windows, great views, comfy beds, and everything was very clean. We really felt at home there. And most of all, Nicky is lovely and super helpful, which made our stay even easier. The location is great, near the access roads of 2 ski resorts (2 Alpes and Alpe d'Huez), as well as near Bourg d'Oisans village. We highly recommend this chalet!

“Superb chalet in an ideal location for cycling”

Superb accommodation - as good as it looks in the photos, it's modern, spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. Niki and Jacky were excellent hosts, extremely friendly & helpful, and have furnished the chalet with virtually everything you would need for a stay. Excellent location for exploring some big climbs and local rides by bike.

The property was top notch - clean, modern, spacious and everything you need to have a comfortable stay. Being a group of cyclist we literally couldn’t have asked for more. The bonus being a newly installed pool - essential for cool down! Niki was a lovely host, nothing was ever too much of a problem

“Outstanding chalet and hosts”

Fantastic chalet - comfortable, spacious and tastefully decorated with lots of facilities. We were there to do the Marmotte cycling event - ideal at just 5 flat kms from the start in Bourg D'Oisans. Niki and Jac were excellent hosts who went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay.

Cozy cabin, you will feel everything was prepared with care and good decoration taste was cared in many details. Perfectly equipped and with everything in perfect conditions. Really attentive and kind host.

“Best chalet we have ever been”

We stayed with 2 families for 1 week (6 adults) in the summer of 2021. Our goal was to climb the surrounding mountains in the Alps with the road bike. The brand-new chalet was just awesome. It was so clean and the chalet is so well designed. Main living room was huge. Full size TV with cable and DVD’s to play. Very comfortable corner sofa and extra seats. Also, a small working desk on ground floor. Dinner table was more then sufficient. There is also a 6p dinner table outside. Bedrooms were amazing - they all had their own bathrooms. Good mattresses. All the bedrooms have a beautiful view over the garden and the mountains. Kitchen was super, with only new equipment. Full garage (with road bike standard included) was a surprise. So, space enough to park the 4 road bikes. We could park our two cars easily next to the chalet. But by far - the best part was the garden and the view over the mountains. That was really stunning. There is a lounge set, sun beds, badminton set, full gas bbq, flowers, trees, big inflatable swimming pool etc. in the garden. The British/French hosts Niki and Jacky did a marvelous job to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Big kuddos for them! They welcomed us and gave a guided tour through the whole chalet. Through out the week they were very approachable and they were always willing to helps us with questions regarding the chalet/region/road trips/etc. The Alpe d'Huez is 20 min on the road bike and the supermarket in the village of Bourg d’Oisans is 5 minutes by car.
