Overview
Hotel Relais des Chartreuses is set in a 17th-century Catalan farmhouse converted into a 4-star hotel, just 3 km from A9 Motorway access and 20 km from the beach. It offers a warm and friendly welcome in the heart of a natural setting. The hotel features rooms and a suite. Each room is spacious and individually decorated, and features a renovated bathroom. Some rooms feature a private terrace. During your stay, savour delicious local specialities served on the terrace during the summer or by the fireplace in the dining room. Every dish is prepared with fresh produce from the market. Dinner is on reservation only. For your comfort, the hotel offers a small wellness centre and a swimming pool. It is a great base from which to enjoy the natural surroundings and the famous village of Collioure. Exit Boulou on the A9 motorway is just 3 km away. reservation required at the latest the day before your arrival

Lovely location in the hills just before the border of Spain. Beautifully restored and converted farmhouse into spectacular boutique hotel. Lovely meal, well prepared with great panache. The owner is quite a character. Would definitely recommend.

The location was lovely. The hotel was surrounded by beautiful grounds. When sunbathing by the swimming pool, we could hear the birds. Vincent was very welcoming. The room was a generous size and everything was clean and well maintained.

The hotel is absolutely beautifully appointed. Our room was large and lovely , with an exceptional bathroom too. We had dinner at the hotel on both nights and our meals were very good indeed. Great pool area and lots of places to sit outside. Very friendly too.

Beautiful setting in the hills with a fabulous garden. The rooms were decorated and furnished to an immaculate standard and the bathroom facilities and air conditioning were perfect. Our host could not have been more welcoming and the evening meal and breakfast were absolutely delicious. Overall this is one of the best hotels we have stayed in and we cannot recommended it highly enough.

This is our second stay, and it was just as good if not better than the first. The hotel has been modernised and refurbished beautifully, creating a luxurious comfortable place to stay. It is very quiet and relaxing which was prefect for us on our long drive south to Spain. We had dinner in the restaurant which was excellent. Sadly we did not have time to take breakfast and enjoy the peaceful terrace. We shall most definitely be returning again.
