“Superb stopover for a night or two”

We have stayed here previously and thoroughly enjoyed it, so nothing here was a surprise to us. This place is delightful. The decor exudes a cultured, bookish old world charm, and the hosts are obviously keen that your experience there is enhanced by a personal level of service, particularly with regard to the excellent continental breakfast. We love it!

The house is situated in a stunning village close to the abbey and opposite a beautiful church. The house is furnished with wonderful antiques, interesting artworks and objets d’art. The owners were very welcoming and Phillipe spent time with us considering our navigation choices for the onward cycle tour. The house is extremely comfortable and we were given the best breakfast we have had in France so far (two weeks) ….. stewed apples with fresh mint, local yogurt, bread and amazing homemade jam (the courgette and orange was a great hit with me) ….. thank you to you both

We had a wonderful stay in this cozy and authentic setting. The rooms were excellent, and the breakfast was superb, especially enjoyed in the beautiful breakfast area. It's the perfect place for a weekend getaway and exploring the region. The owner's communication was also excellent. Highly recommended!

It was like walking into a museum with beautiful furnishings, extremely clean throughout with a lovely continental breakfast. Philippe and Eric were the perfect hosts. The location was absolutely stunning, such a beautiful village with several restaurants and the amazing Le Bec abbey. Couldn’t recommend this accommodation any higher.

This is an extraordinary place to stay if you enjoy art and antiques - with a particular emphasis on Chinoiserie. Philip and Eric are the perfect hosts - warm and caring to the minutest detail. Breakfast was superb - healthy, varied and the bread of the freshest quality. We will certainly book again if we are in the area. Le Bec Helouin is a picturesque and interesting town, with its ancient abbey at the heart. There are a couple of restaurants and creperies in the village which offer good quality French food.
