“Lovely place”

Lovely quiet location in the countryside close to mont Ventoux. Perfect for cyclists. Love hosts who spoke both french and perfect english. Ok internet connection. Nice size rooms. We had the biggest one with own patio which was super nice. The pool was very clean and a nice size.

Spencer and Karen have created a glorious, secluded haven close to the cycling mecca of Bédoin, with great thought having gone into each feature of the place: a beautiful pool in an enclosed area, perfect to cool off in the hot temperatures we had; the bedroom had many touches, best of which were the fabulously soft, high thread-count cotton sheets! Air conditioning was very much valued in the heatwave, and pool towels also a good additional touch. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, with bread and croissants, jams and honey etc. fresh fruit, cereal, fruit juice, tea/coffee, cheese and meats. The 'bike bedroom' was very handy, a large, secure bike storage and workroom with washing machine for a quick freshen up of sweaty bike gear, tools, gels and energy bars for sale and a fridge to chill your water bottles ahead of a day's ride. The garden was enormous with many little spots you could sit outside in peace. Also, unobtrusive washing lines were useful for hanging out your things, and the well-stocked kitchen/lounge area with TV for guests' use made storing food items and making a cuppa easy. Highly recommend, especially for people on a cycling tour, but if you're not cyclists, it is also lovely!

We loved the location and the peacefulness. As cyclists we were central to so many rides, including Mont Ventoux. There was a well stocked cyclist shed, perfect for us. Welcoming hosts and a fresh buffet breakfast made our stay.

“Excellent!”

Beautiful converted farm in peaceful rural location, good for visiting the area. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, and the facilities are good - pool, communal area and a kitchen well set out for self catering if needed. Karen and Spencer are keen cyclists and cater well for anyone planning to tour by bike or climb Mt Ventoux. The breakfasts are excellent.

The location, room, breakfast, bike workshop and storage, and the overall vibe from Karen and Spencer made for a relaxing escape, even if the "escape" included riding up Ventoux by trails on my gravel bike.

What a little diamond in the Ventoux area! All the quiet, nice surroundings at the bottom of the col de la Madeleine - we only have very positive feedback to share: excellent location (check), excellent & friendly hosts (check again), house full of cycling inspiration (check), free tips from the hosts (check). Needless to say that we are definitely going back.

A really wonderful stay. The room was traditionally decorated and very comfortable. The communal kitchen is great if you want to buy food from the markets and cook yourself, with an honesty bar, and a great selection of cycling-related reading to enjoy! The breakfast is wonderful, and Spencer and Karen were fabulous hosts who were hugely helpful and had lots of tips and recommendations. The location is a 10-15 mins peddle to Malaucène where you can start up Mont Ventoux. Relaxing by the pool after a day’s riding was delightful under the trees. We look forward to returning.

Formidable as the French would say. Karen and Spencer are such lovely people who really made sure we had all the information needed for the surroundings and would help you anywhere needed. Various choice in breakfast. Rooms are spot on clean and the overall facilities had not one shortcoming. The location is perfect. You are right in the center of cycle/nature heaven. And with the car you would be <10 mins away from other towns/restaurants. We fell in love with the property and will most def recommend and go back!
