“A lovely getaway, bring wine and enjoy!”

Loved the location… peaceful and relaxing. Our hosts were so helpful and made us feel very welcome and super comfortable. It was a very hot day although the room stayed cool with the door left open. I would have no hesitation in returning or recommending to others. Lovely 🥰

“Pleasant stay!”

Land lady is very kind and agreeable. The double bed is king size. There is a heater in bath room and it is very warm ( I stayed at the end of November).

“Perfect location and friendly owners”

Everything about the property was great and well thought through. The actual room as well as the en suite bathroom were really nice and clean. In the room you also have access to tea, coffee, water, mini fridge with drinks etc which was really nice touch. The property is in a valley, but it has really great views around the surrounding hills so we found it especially nice to relax and have breakfast in the morning's sun and at the same time enjoy the views from the terrace. Unfortunately we could not stay for longer than two nights but we will definitely go back to explore the area further in the not too distant future. We've loved our stay in Le Bar Sur Loup, so I would like thank the wonderful owners for making us feel welcomed and relaxed.

“Amazing experience”

We rented a lovely and comfortable bedroom at Giséle and Roger's house for two nights as we had a wedding in the area. When we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the pair into their lovely home. When we entered the bedroom it was nicely decorated, there is a very large queen bed and all the ameneties you need (mini fridge with softs and beer, coffee and tea, bottle opener etc). You can also ask them for a bottle of wine or else (Extra of course). The bathroom is of good size and the rain shower is amazing. The room and bathroom were spotless and the aircon was a plus and very welcomed at this time of the year. The outside has a massive garden with lots of plants and olives trees with mountains views, many seating area, plenty of shades to relax and enjoy the view with a glass of wine, the swimming pool is of good size and heated and it was great to relax on the loungers by the pool. We also took the breakfast option which was 15 Euros for the both of us. It was composed of fresh fruits, bread, jam, butter, coissant, pain au chocolat, brioche, yogurt, orange juice, tea and coffee. Our host were simply amazing, warm and friendly. We will definetly be staying there again if we are to come in the area. Thank you for the memorable experience. F&B

Wonderful French breakfasts enjoyed while sitting out under the canopy in the garden, and the best coffee imaginable. Madame Gisela and her husband were a delightful couple and their hospitality exceptional. We felt very welcome. Scenery is breathtakingly magnificent, but only for intrepid hikers. It’s big country and the mountains surrounding Le Bar Sur Loup (the ville) are precipitous. (Le Loup is the name of the river that flows through the mountains and the gorges in this area).

Mas Giro was the perfect starting point of our walking tour in the mountains above Nice. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful. The location is charming and we would have loved to stay longer.

The hosts are exceptionally welcoming and friendly. They were highly reachable at all times. We appreciated their advice on the region. The breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed chatting about our respective travel adventures. We also enjoyed tasting some lemons from their tree right behind the room. Walking up the very steep hill to Bar-sur-Loup gave us a good workout but provided superb views.

I only stayed for a night to visit friends in the area, but Gisele and Roger gave me a warm welcome. The room is charming a decent size, very clean with a generous bathroom with modern fixtures (and decent water pressure in the shower). The room was well stocked with complimentary tea, coffee and cold drinks. Often in wintertime independent annexes can be slightly musty or damp, but Mas Giro was neither. I had a very comfortable and quiet night and will certainly stay again. Highly recommended.

“Excellent choice!”
