“Super location, super food and the perfect getaway from city life.”

Breakfast was a la carte and very good. Consisted of coffee freshly baked bread and a very tasty and substantial ham, cheese and mushroom omlette. Dinner was really excellent! Quality rakija. roasted lamb, pork ribs with a good Bovin wine all perfectly cooked and presented with appropriate vegetables.

“A Wonderful Return to One of Our Favorite Hotels”

This was our second stay at Kalin Hotel, and once again, it exceeded all our expectations. Our previous visit was as a couple, but this time, we returned with our baby, Kalina, to share with her the hotel we’ve come to love. The experience was even more special due to the warm and welcoming staff, especially the wonderful young woman who was our main host. She went above and beyond to ensure every one of our needs was met, making us feel right at home. A delightful bonus was her adorable daughter, Ilina, who brought so much joy and energy to our stay. She’s so clever, fun, and was a joy to have around! We’re already planning to return many more times—this place holds a special spot in our hearts, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and welcoming getaway.

Very nice village in the Mavrovo National park. Good food and atmosphere and a bit cooler than Skopje. Nice hike up to peak Sokolica 45 min with good view

“Kalin Hotel is the perfect representation of Macedonian culture and cuisine!”

This place just exceeded my expectations, my first impression was the architecture and decor of the hotel, that suits well the authentic village Lazaropole. We were in awe by the art selection! The staff welcomed us like home, gave us full attention and were always happy to chat with us. The rooms are exceptionally clean, with high quality duvets and pillows. Perfect for a good night’s sleep. The food is one of the most delicious in Macedonia! (And I have tried a lot of restaurants and taverns in my country). Variety of appetizers and meat, we almost tried everything! Everything is cooked by traditional recipes and with local ingredients. If you are into pastries, try the Kalin Bread you won’t regret it! Breakfast was with same quality as the restaurant food, we loved the pita (пита). One of my best stays in Macedonia, huge thanks to the staff and their efforts to make our family gateway exceptional!

Our favorite hotel in Mavrovo region. Nice hotel with nice and clean room&bathroom. The location is perfect, with good possibilities from the hotel to go for walks in the national park. The restaurant serves really nice food and the staff is friendly. We enjoyed our stay here and will surely go again someday!

Breath taking scenery n the drive up to the hotel. Fantastic traditional full of original art. Couldn’t thank the staff enough for faultless service. Food was exceptional and amazing value. Of the 100’s of hotels I’ve stayed at this stands out as an exceptional experience.
