Unfortunately the day of the week we stayed in the town a lot of places were closed. The countryside was pretty though and we enjoyed exploring the area.

great location - nice and spacious - recently renovated. The owner arranged for the heat-pump to be on in the kitchen / diner prior to our arrival so this area was lovely and warm.

Whitehaven House was cosy and comfortable. Even in a cold wintry blast, it was a warm place to be - especially in the dining room with the heat pump. It was spacious and quiet.
