Everything.. was so cosy and a very well put together cottage style home...stunning decor, it was a cold windy weekend but it made sitting in front of the fire with a glass of wine even nicer.

Everything. Very comfortable accommodation in a good location. The extra touches such as the welcome pack was very thoughtful. We enjoyed our morning coffee sitting out on the front verandah overlooking the garden.

We really wanted to stay in a fittingly historic property in Lawrence and this place is perfect for that, especially with all the old posters and information inside. The garden is stunning, the kitchen is very well set up and the whole place has a wonderful ambience.

Superbly characterful and very comfortable with well appointed kitchen, dining, sitting and bedroom areas. Lots of hot water in the shower and a great rumpus room out back with games and reading materials. The gardens are astonishingly well kept and beautiful. Great value for money. Easy walk into the town for groceries and food.

A really beautiful cottage and well thought through details and visitor comforts. While we were self sufficient for food we couldn't resist the snowballs once we had seen them. Only shame for us was that the weather was wet - this would be a brilliant base for anyone wanting to explore this area of Otago more over a few days, and the garden was magnificent and I wished we had more time to relax in it

This property is a hidden gem & I loved it from first sight. The gardens are exquisite and the house is absolutely beautiful. There is everything there that you would need. The log fire makes it so cosy & homely and I'm so glad it was cold enough to need it. The host had a welcome basket which was a lovely touch. Can't recommend this cottage enough if you stay in Lawrence.
